The party was high, it was peaking minutes closing down on the night. Where was he?
The rooms were packed, He wanted her eyes to be the first he stared into this year. Where was she?

"Babe you ready?"
"I will be in 5!" You said curling your (c/o/h) the little swirls sitting loosely on your shoulder. You had glammed up this year for New Years and you were hoping to impress Jack as it was your first year spending it with him. You'd seen him walk before looking hot as hell but you kept that comment to yourself. Finally finishing the last curl you turned of the curling wand and stepped back to see the final product. You were really impressed yourself at your body shape in the dress you'd picked with your bright makeup which for once had been applied close to perfection
"Babe we're gonna be la- woah" Jack stood there staring you up and down as you turned in your high heals. His jaw dropped at the sight of you and his heart rate beat faster at the thought of you being his.
"Come on Ramen, take a picture it'll last longer." He scoffs grabbing your waist making you laugh while you try to scramble out of the bathroom. Time with Jack was either extremely intimate or completely goofing around, no in between.
"Well (y/n) you look absolutely stunning and I will take up that offer to take a photo" he said wiping out his phone snapping a non ready you. You both laugh as you grab your purse and he grabs a box of favourite for the host before walking out the apartment.

You ran around everyone getting wilder and wilder. Not long ago you'd been seated on the couch close together but some how the moment ended and you'd both been whisked away to other areas of the party. Your tight dress was becoming uncomfortable and you could feel a clump of knots under your hair. Sighing you searched more and more rooms looking for Jack.
"Corbyn! Where's Jack?" He fell drunkly onto your shoulder his other looped around Christina tightly who was also just as smashed. Slurring his words,
"I sawww him on the balconnnyyy a little whillleee ago." You thanked him quickly trying to find the balcony exit
"1 MINUTE TILL MIDNIGHT!" at least let him be the first thing I see in 2018 you thought dashing out the door. Lights decorated the red brick wall that had a vertical garden. Many people were yelling the time making my blood move fast paced through my veins. The stars hung high up in the sky with the moon beaming down, placing your cup down on a table frantically looking around

1! A pair of lips meet yours your eyes opening but as you saw some curls and felt his familiar hold of your back, you smiled back into this kiss as many cheered the sound of fireworks above you crashing in colours. Breathing you fell apart only millimeters away from each other's lips. He was panting from running after talking to Corbyn who was definitely over the limit.
"Thank god I found you, 'cause that was the best kiss of my life I swear across my chest" he huffed making you laugh pulling him in tighter watching the rest of the fireworks bang up above.
