I won't be able to get much else done except prepare for singing at the party tonight. Its 1 hr away and I have to help set up everything hrs before.

I will get back to you tomorrow and let you know how it went.

Dec 7

After the food, I sang two songs. Not much to boast about but this is the thing - you have to start doing live performances somewhere! I sang Mary Did You Know and one of my songs.  No microphones but everyone was happy and heard us.

The rest of the evening I had fun and got to meet new friends. The most fun part was the "tomteleken". (Elf game)

Tomteleken

Each person had bought a cheap present that cost no more than 50 SEK. Some took something that they didn't want but was in good condition....and then they wrapped it up.

You sit in a ring and place all the presents in the middle of the circle.

You set an egg timer for five or ten minutes

Then you throw a dice, one person at a time

If they get a six they get to take a package but not open it.

If they get any other number then they get nothing.

You cast the dice and then give it to the next person...

When the bell rings, you open your presents. (At this time some have none and others have many presents)

Set the clock again!

Then you each person gets to cast the dice once a gain, one person at a time and every time they get a six, they get to take a package from someone else!

This gets really crazy.

We had so much fun. Try it next time you have a Christmas party!

Until next time...
