This is the day after Veronica, Kevin, Josie, and Reggie go out dancing.
Veronica's POV
My alarm rings in my ear and I wake with a jump. I groan and roll over and feel someone lying next to me. 'Please don't be Reggie. Please don't be Reggie' I say over and over in my head and I open my eyes to see Josie. "Oh thank god" I whisper to myself. I shake her shoulder lightly so she wakes up but so I don't startle her. "Ugh go away Mom" she whines. "I'm not your mom, Josie" I say laughing. "I'll go get some medicine for that hangover". She murmurs a "yes please" and I go into my bathroom and grab 4 pills. 2 for her and 2 for me. "Do we seriously have to go today" she asks whining. "Yes Josie. We can't miss because of a hangover" I say popping the pills. "We can stop at Pops first if you get ready fast enough" I say smiling. She gets up and goes to the bathroom as fast as her hangover would let her and I laugh. I pick up my phone and see I got a text from Reggie:
Reggie: last night was fun, V. See you in Bio ;)
I turn on my read receipts and I don't answer him, I'm not gonna be that easy with him. Especially since I still like Archie, but maybe if I flirt and hang out with Reggie it'll make him jealous and he'll make a move sooner. I smile at myself and can't help but pat myself on the back for this ingenious idea.
Should I continue this or do something different?
