Chai Loah's POV

"Minghao!!" there goes that daily screaming

In less than a minute, Minghao was already surrounded by his school fangirls.

What's that all about? You don't have to corner a poor guy if you like him. You don't see me doing that do you? And I like him more than they do

They probably just like him for his looks but they haven't actually seen anything yet. He has something about him that makes him more attractive, you know? I can't really explain what it is but I know it's strong

I sighed while watching those girls flirt with Minghao. I feel bad for him though, if only I can get him out of there. Sadly, I have no rights. Cause I'm just a girl who likes him from behind.

Minghao's POV

I smile awkwardly at the girls surrounding me. I could see Chai staring at me in the back. I gulped a bit. I really have to go up and talk to her.

She looked surprised for a second and avoided eye contact and started to walk away. No! Wait

"Excuse me" I say trying to pass by the girls but they wouldn't budge

Ugh. I lost sight of her as she entered the school building. I need to find some way to get to her.

Chai Loah's POV

Break time is here. I was walking towards the cafeteria to grab some snacks when suddenly I hear that annoying shrieks. I turn around to at least get a glimpse of Minghao but instead I got cornered in the lockers.

"Shh, don't move" he whispers at me

That scent, that voice! I clearly know who own it!

Minghao was wearing his hood on and leaned in to my face close enough to have our faces covered. But also close enough to have him hear my heart pound so fast

What's happening?

"Where did Minghao go?" I hear the girls exclaimed

"I'm sorry, please play along" he apologizes and snakes his arm on my waist and moves his head swiftly to the side

Gross. But Minghao's trying to take cover so I played along against my will wrapping my arms on his neck

"Eew, PDA much?" they say

I can just imagine their faces of disgust. Psh, they act so innocently. Fakers

I hear their footsteps fading away but Minghao was still in that very position. Are they still there?

I stood frozen and embarrassed being so close to him. I mean here I am just walking to the cafeteria and the next thing I know I'm pushed againts a wall and wrapped in his arms

I gotta move out of this "Uh? Minghao?" I spoke out

And I think he finally got the idea "Oh I'm sorry!" he jumps away from me

I cover my heated face from him and tried to walk away when he grabbed my arm. My existence has been noticed!

"Chai wait" he says. He also knows my name. Level 3 immediately!

From stranger, to knowing my existence, to knowing my name. It's advancing too quickly!
