Michael

Luke has been really weird since I've kissed him. I feel awful. He won't even look at me. I don't understand because he kissed back.

We're at a hotel right now. Calum and Dakota share a room with Luke. One bed for the couple, the other for Luke. Ashton and I are in the other room. Ashton just left, crying after getting off the phone with Alexis.

There's a soft knock on my door.

"Come in!"

My door opens a crack. Luke peaks his head in. I sit up. "Luke?"

He's looking at the ground. "C-can I c-come in?"

"Yeah."

He shuffles in, still looking at the ground. He shuts the door and just stands there, his back facing me.

"Luke?"

I see him tense but he turns around.

I get up and go over to him. I put my finger under his chin and lift his head up. "Luke, look at me."

He raises his gaze up to my face. I smile softly. "Do you want to kiss me?"

He nods.

"Are you gay Lukey?"

He shakes his head. "Bi."

I chuckle. "Okay baby. Whatever you say."

I let go of him and go lay down on my bed, setting my attention to the tv.

He eventually comes over. I out stretch my arm and he snuggles in. His head on my chest with my arm around him. He kisses my cheek. Paradise.

*five months later*

We go home tomorrow and I'm scared of what I'll come back to. It's been six months since we've been away. Dakota is huge!

Alexis keeps saying everything has changed. I'm afraid I'm losing her. She keeps asking if we're wasting time doing this. I can tell she wants to move on but I need her.

"Ash?" Dakota waddles in.

I smile, thinking of my own baby. "Hey Kota."

She smiles and carefully sit next to me. "Your new song is going to be recorded today. The one you wrote. Then you guys will preform it."

I nod. "Okay."

She sighs, standing up. "Ugh."

I grin. "Difficult."

"Yes!" She huffs.

"Kotaa." Calum walks in. "You need to rest honey."

She pouts and they leave.

*few hours later*

We're on stage. The fans will actually get to hear me sing for one.

Dakota is laying on the couch, humming something backstage. Calum is glowing stealing glances at her every once in a while.

"Hey everybody!" Luke screams into the mic.

Applause.

"We have a special treat for you tonight. Ashton Irwin is singing a song he wrote all by himself."

Calum laughs. "Our boy is all grown up."

The crowd laughs and they start playing. We got a friend of ours to play the drums in my place.

I lean into the mic. "I love you Alexis. She's my beautiful financé and I can't wait to get back home to her. This song is for her."

The crowd gasp and I smile.

Six weeks since I've been away
And now you're sayin' everything has changed
And I'm afraid that I might be losing you
And every night that we spend alone
It kills me thinking of you on your own
And I wish I was back home next to you

Oh, everyday
You feel a little bit further away
And I don't know what to say

Are we wasting time
Talking on a broken line?
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
I feel like we're as close as strangers
Won't give up
Even though it hurts so much
Every night I'm losing you in a thousand faces
Now it feels we're as close as strangers

Late night calls and another text
Is this as good as we're gonna get?
Another timezone taking me away from you
Living dreams in fluorescent lights
While you and I are running out of time
But you know that I'll always wait for you

Oh, everyday
You feel a little bit further away
And I don't know what to say

Are we wasting time
Talking on a broken line?
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
I feel like we're as close as strangers
Won't give up
Even though it hurts so much
Every night I'm losing you in a thousand faces
Now it feels we're as close as strangers

On the phone
I can tell that you wanna move on
Through the tears
I can hear that I shouldn't have gone
Every day gets harder to stay away from you
So tell me...

Are we wasting time
Talking on a broken line?
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
I feel like we're as close as strangers

Wasting time
Talking on a broken line
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
I feel like we're as close as strangers
Won't give up
Even though it hurts so much
Every night I'm losing you in a thousand faces
Now it feels we're as close as strangers

Six months since I went away
And I know everything has changed
But tomorrow I'll be coming back to you
