Chapter 36

We had a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory, which quickly became my favorite place to have dinner.

" I think Sebastian liked it more than me, " I say, laughing as Vanessa cleans his face, which was covered in food.

" I'm pretty sure every part of his face got a little piece of food but his mouth, " Lin adds. We laugh and get ready to leave.

After dinner, we went to the show. As Dad got ready, I was in rehearsal for Maria/Peggy. Over this time, I learned all the songs and Eliza's parts. Soon after, Maria/Peggy, I will learn Angelica and then I get to start dress rehearsals.

Before I could enter the rehearsal room, I get picked up and spun around. " Hi, Anthony" I giggle before turning to him.

" Happy 18th Birthday, Em! Have a good rehearsal" He says, before someone calls him over. He kisses me on the cheek before leaving. I laugh and roll my eyes and walk into the room.

" Happy BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!" Say My fellow Schuyler Sisters. They all hug me at once.

" Thanks guys. " I say.

" You are officially an adult. Tomorrow, we are taking you out somewhere. " Says Jasmine.

" Yes! That will be so much fun!" says Renee.

" Okay, Go on and get Ready, girls" Ushers Andy.

I am in rehearsals for 1 and a half hours. After I go to Pippa's dressing room, where all the girls were.

" How were rehearsals?" asks Renee.

" Good, Learned Say No to this. I have another one tomorrow and then I am done with rehearsals" I say, smiling and then ask, " Where are we going tomorrow?" They all laugh.

" No, its a surprise" Says Pippa, and my eyes widen.

" Please no shopping. " I say, backing away.

" There is no shopping involved, " says Pippa, sighing. I take a deep breath and go back to my own seat.

" I'm just kidding, Pippa" I say, hugging her.

" Whatever" she acts fake mad and then laughs.

" So, just be ready at your house by 10:00. We will pick you up. " says Renee

" Okay" I say, skeptically.

" Ooh. How are you and Anthony?" Asks Jasmine.

" Good, " I say, looking at the ground, blushing.

" Details!" Says Pippa.

" Well, um, I don't know. I really do like him and we always have a fun time and what else do you want?" I ask.

" Even more details?" Asks Jasmine.

" Uh... Like what?" I say, knowing fully well that Anthony was right behind me and they were trying to get me to say stuff about him without me knowing he was there.

" Like anything" Says Pippa.

" Actually, can I tell you guys something? You suck at hiding stuff" I say, turning behind me to see Anthony just as I suspected.

" Okay, we are soon-to-be Broadway actresses, " Says Renee.

" Might need more rehearsals, " I tease.

" Hey!!" They say.

" Just kidding. Hey, Ant-man" I say, turning to him.

" sorry about before. Happy Birthday!!" He says, kissing me on the cheek and hugging me from behind.

" No problem, " I say, smiling. Jazz walks in and grins real big, along with Pippa and Renee. "Good luck on stage, " I say.

" Thanks. Good luck in rehearsals, beautiful!" He says, smiling, before leaving. I blush and turn to the girls as they squeal.

" You guys are perfect together, " Jazz says and I blush brighter.

" I agree, " Anthony says before coming in, "Forgot! " He kisses my forehead before leaving again and I find myself grinning and blushing even brighter, if that is even possible.
