Riker's POV
There's 2 more days until mom and dad get home. We haven't done anything since the party.
"Hey guys," I say, "do you wanna go to the beach?"
"Sure!" Everyone says.
We all get ready and go.
When we get to the beach, we set up our stuff.
"Who wants to play football?!" Ross says grabbing a football out of the bag.
"I do!" Me, Rocky, Ryland, and Ratliff say.
"How about you girls? Wanna play?" I say looking that them.
"Why not!" They say.
We pick teams.
The teams are me, Rocky, Christina, Rydel and Ross against Ryland, Katy, Natalie, and Ratliff.
We play for about an hour. I notice that Rocky is wide open. I throw him the ball. I threw it a little too far and it landed by some girls. I run and go get it.
"Is this yours?" One of the girls ask.
"Yeah. Sorry, it was my fault."
"It's all good."
We stand their smiling at eachother for a minute.
"I'm Meghan by the way."
"Riker."
"Nice to meet you Riker."
"You too!"
"Riker! Come on!" Rocky yells.
"I gotta go. See you around Meghan."
"I hope so!" She says.
I think she's the one. If she's still here by the time we leave, I'm definitely giving her my number.

The rest of the day we swim, tan, and eat. It's getting kinda late, so we start to pack up.
I notice that Meghan and her friends are still here.
"I'll be right back guys." I say walking away.
I walk over to Meghan.
"Hey Riker!" She says smiling.
"Hey! So I was wondering if um, you'll go out with me?" I ask nervously.
"Yes! I'd love to go out with you."
"Great! I'll pick you up at 7:00 tomorrow, okay?" I ask.
"Sounds good!"
She finds her phone and asks me for my number.
Once we exchange numbers, we say goodbye and I go back to our stuff and help everyone get it packed up.
"Who's that?" Ross asks.
"Her names Meghan. And I'm taking her out on a date tomorrow."
"Awesome! Have fun!" He says.
We get home and everyone goes to bed.
I lay there thinking about Meghan. Tomorrow has to be perfect!
