Arthur mooched over to the workshop door. When he looked inside he saw a coffee machine with its door open. Going up to it he saw that it was plugged in. He closed the door. A voice said, “What is your order please?”

“Er, a cup of tea please. Milk, one sugar.”

A cup dropped down, a teabag into that and one sugar.

“What a nice day we are having,” said the coffee machine.

“Yes, rather,” replied Arthur.

The machine tried to squirt some water into the cup, but none came out. “Sorry Madam but I have run out of water.”

“I am a man.”

“Sorry man.”

“You sound like a disembodied electronic hippy.”

“Thank you.”

“I have just spoken to Fiona…”

“Who?”

“The drone next door.”

“Oh you mean the F10N-A drone?”

“Yes. Well I have just spoken to her and she does not to leave the compound unless it is with you.”

“How touching. You had better take me to her. If you don’t then we cannot resolve this part of the book.”

Arthur unplugged Vladimir then picked him up to carry him next door, “I don’t believe it,” he chuntered, “the author named the book after such a short sequence.”

“It hasn’t happened yet,” said I as I finished this chapter.
