Sorry if there are mistakes, I wrote this really quick.

I (honestly) love this holiday, but it's SO WEIRD. Why do we celebrate love, friends and family on a day that supposedly a Saint (Saint Valentine) died? It's completely odd to me.

Today it's technically known as the Feast of Saint Valentine, so why do we involve red, pink, hearts and corny cards (that honestly I adore)?

I know tons of people who hate Valentine's Day, and I get it. It's SO weird. To celebrate love as an International holiday (I'm guessing almost every country celebrates it?).

Plus, it's so weird to show people we love them by buying chocolates and roses. DON'T GET ME WRONG; I love Valentine's Day. I love the festivities, and how people show they love each other, but it's all SO WEIRD. Because, technically it's the day a SAINT (supposedly, I'm reading Wikipedia as I type) died.

I love Valentine's Day, but I've never had a boyfriend to give anything to, I've never really given anything to my best friend except a virtual card and a hug and we don't really make a big deal out of it in my family. I'll dress in pinks or reds or something that says something sweet (if my Hug A Zombie sweater counts) and that'll be it. My parents will go out, my siblings and I will play Mario Kart and then go to bed, completely forgetting everything.

BUT VALENTINE'S DAY IS SO CUTE AND I LOVE IT AND I THINK THAT'S JUST BECAUSE I'M SUCH A HOPELESS ROMANTIC.

SO I hope you all have a wonderful, safe, Valentine's Day. I love you all :)

More rants to come. xx
