Confusion 1.1

Raven's POV

There he was.

I was looking at my conjured mirror attached at the top of the building where Kuroro was being held captive.

One of my abilities is mirror spy.

It works like an x-ray on any structure attached to it.

I can control and see what is happening inside the facility.

Currently, he is being held at the top floor of the building.

And he is being tortured.

Savages!!!

I tried blinking my eyes as fast as possible.

My tears are about to fall.

I bit my lip.

Seeing Kuroro's face full of blood makes me wanna puke.

He has cuts everywhere his body.

God!

My mind is totally getting blank.

Slowly, I started seeing Marcus and Nympha's bloody body.

My entire body feels weak.

How can he even be awake?

This kind of torture.

This is inhumane!

They'll gonna pay for what they did.

I clenched my fist.

I started canvassing the area.

There are a total of 52 men.

I conjured owl's eye.

Some are mediocre hunters but there are 12 hunters which are above average. Top class.

Possibility of winning: .001%

I exhaled.

I cannot prolong my attack any further.

Every second I am trying to perfect my plan of attacking, Kuroro's getting hurt.

It's dangerous but I need to take a risk.

Because...

Because it's Kuroro's life that is at stake.

Nothing matters.

My purpose is clear.

I have to save Kuroro first.

I'll think of the consequences later.

I stealthily entered the building through the window near Kuroro.

Twelve men have noticed my presence.

As expected, the mediocre hunters have not noticed my flawless zetsu but the twelve top hunters did.

Which is why I ensured that they are far enough from Kuroro before entering the room.

I conjured glass sword and immediately killed two men torturing Kuroro.

"Raven, you shouldn't be here." he said in a very weak voice.

Something warm touched my heart.

How can he possibly worry about me in his situation right now?

Seriously?!!

"You'll gonna be fine" I said ignoring his warning.

I tried to smile.

He was hurting.

I am hurting.

Damn everyone who did this to him!!

They'll gonna pay for this!!

I can feel the sudden increase of number of nen users rushing to the room.

I immediately conjured heaven's door and pushed the table he was tied on at heaven's door.

I immediately released heaven's door when I've seen one man attempting to enter the door.

Damn! Their fast!

I jumped to avoid a nen rope about to strangle me.

I continuously and swiftly dodge all the nen attacks simultaneously aimed at me.

A nen rope had finally caught my feet.

I conjured glass sword and cut the nen rope attached at my feet.

"Raven?"

I was shocked and distracted upon hearing my name I was not able to fully avoid a nen attack aimed at me.

I can feel a cut below my left breast.

The wound isn't deep but I have to make sure it isn't poisoned.

"Stop." He said.

All attacks aimed at me had ceased.

I exhaled. I looked at the man who mentioned my name.

So he is the boss.

He was tall. 6'3. He is also old. Late 50's. He has a scar on his left cheek which makes him look scary for most normal people. He has a 2 inch beard which makes his face looks scarier. His hair was properly combed and gelled.

A man with a face as striking as him always leaves an impression. It's impossible that I will forget any instance I've met him.

"Who are you?" I asked.

Confusion starting to mess my head.

I came hear to save Kuroro but the man who kidnaps and tortures him knows me?

This does not make any sense!

Just what in the world is happening?!
