Kuroro's POV

Keep running.

Run faster.

Who knows how fast Raven will learn that I'm gone.

Ten minutes earlier, she left me at a restaurant because she has something to attend to while we were waiting for the food.

I was tempted to ask what she will do...where she will go...but I stopped myself.

The more I try to get to know her the harder it is for me to leave her.

Also, she leaving me is a good opportunity for me to leave.

Honestly, I am torn between leaving her without saying goodbye or leaving her and making a big lie as goodbye once again.

I chose the former because it was easier.

Honestly, I cannot think of a good story that can make Raven accept the fact that I will leave her.

In her mind, the sole reason I exist was to kill the Phantom Troupe.

If I deviate my story from my sole purpose she would sense something is not right and there's a possibility that I may blow my cover.

I am calmly analyzing what I can possibly do to ensure that Raven will not look after me and if she will how can I make her not be able to find me. Then I felt that adjacent to me there is also a man who was traversing the roof.

This is bad.

He was fast.

To be able to match my speed although I am currently restricted of nen means he is not your ordinary hunter.

To make matters worse, there are around five men behind him.

He was fast but they were faster.

In an instant he was killed.

I felt a sweat dropped my chin.

They felt my presence.

I looked at our gap.

They were just a few meters away from me.

It is unwise to run.

I can't outrun them.

I am also outnumbered.

I calmly bend my knees and kneel.

In an instant they have surrounded me.

"Where do you think you're going boy?" the tallest man asked me.

"I will not tell a thing. I promise. Please let me go." I made sure my voice was shaking.

I also made sure that my body's shaking.

I made sure to make them feel that I am scared and weak.

I raised my head.

Two in my front. One in my right. One in my left and one in my back.

They have good physique.

I can sense that they also have strong nen abilities.

There is a five percent probability that they'll let me go.

I looked at the one in front of me.

He was intently staring at the man behind my back.

I looked into his pupils intently.

I can see the guy move his head up and down.

There's no time.

They intend to kill me.

I held my ballpoint pen in my pocket and attacked them instantaneously.

Leonardo's POV

"Boss. They're dead." His subordinate said.

Well, he was not expecting that they were alive but at least he was hoping one survived.

"What's the cause of death?" I asked.

"There was a wound in their throat." His subordinates laid the corpses in front of him.

I kneeled and looked at the wound.

The cut was clean and precise.

He knows the nerve to hit and he hit it with full accuracy.

It seemed his subordinates where not even able to fight.

Whoever did this caught them off guard.

I am still not sure how many did this but to think that they let their guard down.

One person must have done the job.

This is bad.

There are no other witnesses.

No one knows his identity.

No one knows his objective.

Is he against my plan?

If he is then his timing is impeccable.

What kind of man will show up now that I am almost near in reaching my dream?

Whatever his reasons are I want him dead.

"Find the person responsible to this and bring him to me dead or alive."

"Boss, how will we find him?"

"Find Mu."
