I honestly don't know how to start this. This chapter I never thought I would get to. Two years ago in August, never would I have thought that the anxious, half-assed written one-shot I wrote influenced by other one-shot writers would turn into something so powerful and international.
I don't know what it is exactly that shocks me the most. Is it the major following I have? The support that's brought me this far? Or is it the fact that ONE MILLION READS is shown on my one-shots book. I honestly can't decide which is more surprising, but even so, I will be forever thankful.
For each and every single one of you that come on wattpad to read stories that make you feel special and loved, I want to personally thank you for all the time you've spent reading my work.
One million reads is a milestone that I never imagined we could reach. But I underestimated you and I'm sorry.
I don't think it's necessarily the writer that should be acknowledged when something like this happens, but instead the readers, who experience these stories as the writer had when they wrote it. The reader is the reason the writer makes it, and although the writer writes it, without the reader to what do we owe our success?
I don't mean to sound so repetitive, but I need you to understand how grateful I am. Spelling mistakes, stereotypical scenarios, and all the other things that you've seen from me didn't stop you from reading and the fact that those things were overlooked are pretty incredible.
I could type forever about how thankful I am, but I want to talk a little more about what's next.
So, what's next?
Well, I have exciting news and updates on things I've talked about before.
1. I had started a plan to make music for my books. Little did I know how hard that was so boi bye.
2. I will still be writing anime one-shots in my second book. Your requests have not been forgotten or unseen.
3. Since this book has come so far, and my following is not only of anime, I'll be starting a k-pop one-shots book. (More info down below)
4. I'm holding a million reads Q&A so comment on this and ask away!
5. I will also be holding a writing contest. (More info below)
So first off I want to talk about my Kpop One-Shots book. I'll be writing some pre-release one-shots but I need some requests to start me off. Any group, male or female, will be accepted.(Obviously x reader) so comment here on your requests
Secondly, my writing contest. I know there are a good amount of you who not only love reading, but also writing. So what I'm going to ask is that you write a one-shot. It can be anime, Kpop, YouTube, whatever you want. Tag me in it and I'll read and give feedback. I'll be choosing three winners, and you have until March 7th to write them and tag me. Good luck!
All the winners will receive: A personal one-shot of whomever they'd like. I will follow and shout them out on not only wattpad but also in my group chats. Lastly, if the winners have any written stories published on wattpad, I'll be adding them to my library, reading them, and giving feedback on that.
