{Levi Ackerman Part 1}

Title: Hospital

Anime: Attack on Titan

Warning: Super heavy sailor swearing up ahead but I'm sure you were already expecting that.

Sitting in that same old hospital bed became a common theme for me. I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma which the doctors, upon discovering the cancer, said it was going to be a very long journey before I could return to my everyday life. My new life was to be lived out in the hospital so they could throughly study it and try to extract all of the malignancy.

"Geez." I said as I peeked my head out of my all to familiar hospital door, watching a little girl scream her lungs out as she ran away from her mother.

"This is why people should beat their kids." I sighed and walked back into my room. Over the past couple of months, my personality had turned extremely salty. When nurses came into check on me, I simply scoffed or made a sassy remark to them. I knew they never did anything wrong but loneliness changed my heart and emotions for the worst. Not knowing whether I was going to die or not gave me extreme anxiety and depression, creating a mental shadow over myself.

I was sitting up, waiting for my dinner, when a old nurse came in and bowed then said,

"Tommorow morning you'll be getting a roommate. His name is Levi Ackerman. Please see that he is comfortable and accept him." I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at her.

"Surely seeing to him is your job, not mine. You know what? Nevermind, I'm just gunna go to sleep. Dinner won't be necessary tonight." I then turned my back to her and pulled the covers over my shoulder. She bowed silently and left. I thought to myself,

"What if this idiot is an annoying fuckface..they shouldn't have roomed him with me, his life here is going to be miserable. I hope he wasn't expecting anyone with fucking rainbows coming out of their ass because he's in for a rude awakening when he gets here. Maybe I'll mess with him when he gets here. No, then he might think I'm trying to befriend him. I certainly don't want that."

I then rubbed my temples and breathed heavily as a slight stress reliever. I closed my eyes and prepared myself for whatever I was going to wake up too.

"Oh~ Levi! I wonder who your roommate is! Says on here her name is...(F/N) (L/N)! I can't wait to meet her! Look at her (h/c) hair it's beautiful! I wonder if she likes science, do you think she would let me run some tes-"

"Oi! Shitty glasses, If you don't shut the fuck up right now I'm going to part your forehead like the god damn Red Sea." The annoying voice slightly shreaked and the room became quiet. I groaned and sat up slowly. I turned around to see a girl, probably the one with the hella annoying voice. She had brown hair tied into a ponytail and glasses at the bridge of her nose. Next to her was a slightly muscular looking guy with blonde hair and an undercut. Lastly, my roommate Levi was sitting on the bed next to mine in a white hospital gown identical to the one I was so used to wearing. He had beautiful raven black hair and steel grey eyes that stared right back into my (E/C) ones. He clicked his tongue and ripped his eyes from my gaze. The girl jumped up from her seat and came over to my bed side and said,

"Hi (F/N)! I'm Hanji Zoe but please just call me Hanji! I like science and anything to do with scientific history. Oh! And I-" "I don't care." I blurted out rudely. The other boys looked over at me, Levi with a face of pure interest and the other guy was quite surprised. The girl who calls herself Hanji, suddenly burst into a laughing fit and sat down in her seat away from me. She suddenly looked between me and the Levi guy and said,

"Oh yeah. This is gunna be fun." Levi barked at her to shut up. Then the other man stood up and grabbed Hanji by the wrist and said,

"C'mon let's leave. See you later Levi." In which Levi responded,

"See ya Erwin." Hanji followed suit but didn't forget to wave at Levi and then me with a bright, goofy smile. I simply looked away ignoring her gesture. After a few minute of silence, I finally said,

"That friend of yours is highly annoying." He glanced over at me and replied,

"Tsk. She's like a filthy tick that won't get off my fucking back." I scrunched my nose and looked out the window.

"Names (F/N)." I said coldly.

"Yeah no shit it says it on your fucking white board." He then pulled out a book and totally ignored my presence. I thought to myself,

"Wow this guy is fucking rude. At least the fucker isn't annoying."

Suddenly, a knock was heard from our door. A doctor came in and shook hands with Levi. I couldn't help but overhear their conversation.

"Mr. Ackerman, I'm not going to say I'm excited to see you here but it was unavoidable. You see, (F/N) has the same stage of Malignant Melanoma as you and since you both are around the same age I thought maybe you guys could bond and seek friendship out of one another."

"Yeah okay is that all, Doctor?"

"Yes. I'll come back once I have more information for you both. Have a good day." With that he left, bring back the silence that lingered once before. I glanced over at him to see him fully in grossed in his book. I sighed and swung my legs over and went and sat on his bed, laying beside him.

"Whatcha reading?" I said, trying to sound as friendly as possible and not like I wanted to kill myself.

"It's called, 'Get the fuck out of my bed you filthy piece of shit before I throw you out the window.'" I snorted, earning a confused scowl from Levi.

"That must be a very interesting book, but no I'll pass. Unlike all my other past inmates, you aren't annoying, maybe a dick, but not annoying." He sat there for one...two minutes before closing his book and siting it on his night stand. He sighed and turned towards me, sarcastically laying on one side of his torso with his head raised by his bended arm. He talked cheerfully, which was obviously fake and sarcastic.

"So (F/N)! Let's braid our hair and tell eachother all about how much we like that sexy boy from One Direction!" He scoffed and sat back up. I sat there for a minute, replaying that whole scene in my head again. I then did something I hadn't done in a long time. I suddenly bursted out laughing. I whipped the tears that were forming and looked over to see Levi staring at me, watching me laugh with amusement.

Levi's PoV (First time doing this thing people bare with me)

I watched her as she laughed. Although she was a sarcastic little shit, her laugh was angelic. She striked me as beautiful ever since she woke up and looked over at me but her laugh..her laugh. It did something to me, to that annoying thing that was beating in the middle of my chest. What the fuck is wrong with me. I don't even know why I said those embarrassing stupid fucking words. Although, if it would make (F/N) laugh like that again, I would do it as many times as I could. She snapped me out of my thoughts when she suddenly brought her face close to mine. I raised an eyebrow and whispered,

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"Looking."

"At what?"

"You."
