"Prom is this weekend people! Get your dates and get your tickets!" The loud speaker announced. I can't believe it's already time for prom. It's this weekend!

I already got my dress and shoes and everything. If you're wondering, my foot is completely healed. I actually got my cast off last night! Ashton was there and we threw a little celebration!

So here's what happened with my parents. I finally went home and they were gone. Yep, that's it. It's been a couple weeks and there's no call or anything. Just when I thought my dad was going to be a better dad.

Well, I had been spending a lot of time over at Ashton's, with his family. I noticed at one point that Henry had a brand new black eye, so I asked Ashton about it.

He explained to me what happened and I gasped. "How'd you know he kissed me? I never told you."

He smirked at me. "Crazy things happen when you're on drugs." He said with a shrug. "And why didn't you tell me?"

"Um..." I rubbed the back of my neck. "Well I was going to tell you, but I was afraid about ruining your brother's relationship."

"Brooke, let me tell you something. I have to love my brother no matter what the hell he does because we're biologically bound, but I love you because I can, and so you are more important in my life right now."

I instantly turned two shades redder. He caressed my cheek. "You're being mushy gushy." I said, not meeting his eyes. I told you I'm uncomfortable with that stuff!

"Yeah get used to it babe." He said kissing me.

I pouted once he pulled away. "I don't think I ever will. I thought you weren't the mushy gushy type?"

"Sometimes you just need to be. Sometimes some things need to be said and they come out as mushy gushy. That's just the way it goes. Stop being a baby." He said flicking my nose. I just stuck my tongue out in response.

So anyways back to the present. Jen was standing next to me in the hallway and got all giddy. We both have boyfriends this year so she's excited. Last year we had dates, but they were losers, and my date kept stepping on my feet so I ditched him halfway through the evening. That wasn't the best prom.

Ashton came up and swung his arm around me, "So sweetheart you going to prom?"

I laughed. He was acting like I wasn't already his date. "Um...I don't know, no one has asked me." I said playing along.

"Well what if I told you, I could make your prom dreams come true?"

"I don't know, you don't seem like someone I'd see myself with." I smirked.

"Well just imagine this sweetheart, a limo, you, me, and your cute little friend over here, a nice dinner, and dancing the night away." He said motioning in front of him.

I pretended like I was thinking about it. "I guess the limo kind of won me over. Sure I'll go with you."

"I knew you couldn't say no to me."

Jen then turned to Ryan, "Are you guys really picking us up in a limo?!" She said jumping excitedly.

"You bet! It'll be awesome!"
