"Are you fucking kidding me?"

"What? We just-"

"No." I interrupted with a snap, crossing my arms across my chest and fixing the pair with a disgusted glare. "Are you guys for real? You came to pay your respects? Can you not - why the - ugh, damn it, just go away. No ones in the mood for your bull."

"Shouldn't you be nice to us since we can still potentially help your friend?" Leo pointed out, quirking an eyebrow.

Deacon nodded. "Yeah...shouldn't you, doll face?"

"Are you going to?"

"Hell no." Deacon snorted with amusement lining his tone, and his attitude blaring ridicule.

"You son of a-"

"Who is it, Bea?" Ajax walked up from behind, his expression slowly dropping while his body tensed up. "What are you doing here?"

"They're leaving." I moved to slam the door on their maliciously delighted faces when Ajax stopped me.

"No, wait. What do you want?"

"We came here to strike a deal with you, obviously. Are you going to let us in now or wait until we have hypothermia?" Deacon stepped forward and Ajax pulled back on my elbow to stop me from blocking Deacon's pathway.

"Be nice," Ajax condoned in a hushed voice. "He could help Ross."

"Yeah, I could," Deacon shot me a cheeky grin, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "But I won't." He mouthed and I exhaled deeply; my hatred for him blooming from a seed to a flower in a span of three seconds.

I turned to see Ajax regarding Leo with suspicion and wariness with Leo doing so likewise to him. "C'mon, Leo," Deacon called, his patience fast dwindling to nothing.

"Yeah, Leo, c'mon," I said, muttering as he went past. "Stupid lapdog,"

Leo turned to me with a frosty glare, his lip curling upwards with anger. "You-!"

"Behave," Ajax intervened quickly. "Both of you."

I grumbled as did Leo before turning away from them, walking into the room where Ross lay, still asleep. Cade was sitting there, no sign of surprise washing over his face as he calmly looked up to see Deacon and Leo in his house. "I'm going to ask you to kindly remove the suckers you have in my garden."

"What - I don't -" Deacon protested, his look of innocence was not enough to convince Cade.

"Ajax," Cade nodded and Ajax walked over swiftly, grabbing his sword by the black hilt, and exiting the room through a door to the back garden.

"You brought suckers? You're such a dick."

Deacon turned to me with his expression gradually turning to annoyance. "Would anyone mind me gluing her mouth shut?"

"Oh no," Leo said quickly, smiling wickedly. "Of course not, be my guest."

"I do," Cade said sharply, before motioning. "Why don't you take a seat?"

Deacon sat down on an armchair with Leo sitting on the arm rest beside him. "Where's the witch?" Deacon asked, looking around with pretend curiosity.

"He's elsewhere," Cade answered vaguely. "How about we get straight to why you're here, Orion, I don't have time for your games."

"Yeah, in case you didn't notice Ross is dying."

"About that, I hear you're looking for a...cure for his sucker's bite?"
