Recently my family and I traveled to Saudi Arabia, Alhamdulillah we were able to see my grandmother and one of my uncles. My grandmother arranged for us to meet a man while we were there. They didn't give us much information to go on except that his name was Sa'ad, he lives in Makkah, and he graduated a year ago with an engineering degree; but since we were going there anyway we decided we would meet him. I had this feeling in my heart, I can't really explain it but I just had a bad feeling about him.
When we got to Saudi Arabia I didn't bring it up because I didn't really feel good about it but eventually my dad asked my grandmother about him. That's when she told us that he has no job, no money, no place of his own, he's 24 and living with his parents. They didn't mention anything about that before we got there. My dad was of course angry, it's not that he expected a young man to be wealthy in order to marry me but he wanted someone that has a job, that can take care of me and a family financially. So it didn't work out but Alhamdulillah at least we got to see my grandmother and uncle!
