My grandmother came for a visit and like most grandmothers she wanted to talk about a man she found for me. This man his name was Eyad and according to my grandmother he had really good deen, he had to because he is related to us from her side of the family. She hasn't spoken to the family in maybe 5 years but she "knows" them.
My dad had a fight with her saying there is no way he would give me to some guy he knows nothing about, which I agreed 100%, but my grandmother kept telling him that Eyad and I would really like each other and he has to give us a chance. He doesn't speak English so I suppose we would have a silent marriage. I actually thought the whole situation was quite humorous but I didn't want anything to do with Eyad. I just felt it in my bones that he was not what I want or need. So Alhamdulillah my grandmother closed the topic but now she's on a search for more. InshAllah the next one will be a bit more reasonable option.

I want to ask everyone who reads this, it would be interesting to know if anyone else goes through these kinds of situations.
And JazakAllah khair to everyone who has read, voted, and commented!
