Not long ago my moms coworker came to her telling her about a young man in Canada named Jihad wanting to get married. He's just finishing school to become an optometrist and he's ready to buy a house and settle down in Canada. The only problem I have is that it's in Canada (not that it's a bad place), but seeing as I live in Texas where our winter is like Canada's summer and even that is very cold for me; I wear two pairs of clothes and my bones still hurt from the cold.
It would also be very difficult for Jihad to come here seeing as he would have to study again and retake tests to be able to practice optometry. So at the end we decided to not go any further with it. Alhamdulillah, it was not in Allah's plan for us.
