Sorry for the authors note, but I'm sure all of y'all have heard about the Charlotte shootings and riots.
I say riots because these are no longer "peaceful protests"- they are riots.
It was heartbreaking to sit in my history class this morning and watch a livestream of my hometown 20 minutes away being torn to pieces.
I don't have an issue with protest- do what you want- but when you set things on fire and break into buildings, that's stepping over the boundary.
I'm so upset and I'm gonna go write even though it's late because I can't get this off of my mind.
