Stigma

I was right!! Tae was next!

It starts out with Namjoon quoting from the book "Demian" like he has done in the previous two videos. So "Demian" is the main literature reference in this era, like how "Peter Pan" was the main literature reference in HYYH.

Tae's part is when Demian is going through the process of destroying himself and getting familiar with the bad side of the world. This video has connections back to "Run" through the graffiti and the police. In "Run", Namjoon was there with V doing the scandalising and getting arrested. They were smiling at each other. When V gets arrested in "Stigma" he is also smiling... smirking (looking sexy as fuck). Before that, he was trying to scratch something off the garage door.

Then he is sitting in a room being questioned... that thing he is scratching against... idk. I think that's important somehow.

Next, he is running (poor Tae... every single MV he has to be running) and crying.

The questions being asked at the police station was:

What's your name? Kim Taehyung
Your age? 21
Your parents? I don't have parents

When he is answering the last two questions, he is getting beaten up and then there is a flash to a telephone booth. DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER THE JAPANESE VERSION OF "RUN"??? Rapmonster was at a telephone booth and I mentioned back then that I thought he was on the phone to V... so I think this is connected to that.

Then it goes to a scene of V's home life before he stabbed the shit out of his alcoholic and abusive father. I think that's either his sister or his mother that he is lying with and trying to protect. I'm leaning more towards that being his sister because later on he sings "I'm sorry, my sister" and in "INU" you see her get abused and Tae saving her by killing their father. Maybe the mother has left or has died because Tae says he has no parents, and we know that he killed off his father.

Another important point... THAT PUPPY IS CUTE AF!! I think the puppy is representing unconditional family love and support... so basically symbolising his sister. He clings onto the puppy not wanting to let it go as he doesn't want to be separated from his sister. He wants to continue staying by her side to protect her but he lost his ability to do that after he killed his father.

Suddenly he is being caged, symbolising the jail cell he is being put in for murder, and the puppy walks away from him once all the chaos is over and he is fully enclosed... his sister has fully been taken away from him and now he is completely alone.

WHY ARE THEY PUTTING FLASHBACKS OF "DANGER"?? I was not expecting that. The shattered glass is a metaphor for his life shattering before him.

Unlike Jimin and Jungkook, Taehyung did NOT wake up in a bed... which means he is still alive. Although it was speculated that he died at the end of "The Prologue"... the ending of "Run" contradicted that.

...

I can't read the Korean and I don't know what Tae says at the end.

A/N: I might add some more to this later but this came out at 1am and it is currently 2am... and wayy too early (or late, depending how u look at it) for my brain to be functioning properly.. So I hope this explains the video a bit. I haven't seen any theories yet but I usually see them after writing these chapters and being like "ohh, why didn't I think of that?"
