Family Tension

The Black family was up early in the morning. Jake and Bella were headed to LaPush to visit family. Jake had just finished dressing Sarah Renee and was walking her out to the truck where Bella was sitting and resting. Bella was now at 32 weeks and was told she could give birth anytime within the next 2 -4 weeks, her stomach was massive and just this last week she had given in to Jacobs request and asked what the sexes were. They were about to become parents to a girl and a boy, Dakota Anne and Jacob Charlie II.

"Are you happy to see grampa Black today angel face" Jacob cooed to his daughter.

Sarah clapped her hands in excitement "Gampa I see Gampa"

Jake finished buckling Sarah in her carseat in the back of the truck and then shut the door. "How are you feeling today babe?" Jake asked Bella as he got in the front.

"I'm feeling huge, I mean I can no longer tie my shoes. Then again I couldn't tie my shoes 5 weeks ago." Bella replied in a grumpy tone.

Jake quickly kissed Bella before starting the truck and heading out.

"I talked to Charlie and he said we could stay at his house while we are in town. I'll be sleeping on the couch down stairs and you and Sarah will take your old bedroom."

"Lets hope I don't squish our daughter" Bella joked.

Jake squinted his eyes at the ray of sunshine that broke through the clouds. "Yeah we wouldn't want that to happen."

Bella and Sarah fell asleep as Jake barely crossed out of Seattle. Looking at his daughter in the rear view mirror, Jake smiled. It amused him at how much his daughter looked like him, his mothers innocent facial features were obviously there, he could see them when Sarah looked into his face. The twinkle that shown in Sarah's eyes everytime she smiled, her laughter that was music to his ears and melted his heart. The beautiful creation he made with Bella, was sleeping in the back seat in her carseat; and two more were on the way within the next month.

Pulling up outside of Billys house, Jake put the truck into park and shut off the engine. Bella was still sleeping, but Sarah was now awake and was peering curiously out of the window at anything that moved. Jake got Sarah out of her carseat and set her on her feet, laughing Sarah ran straight into Paul's arms.

"How's my neice doing?" Paul spoke, swinging her around. "Can uncle Paul take you home?" He joked.

"Nice try Paul, if you step foot off the reservation with my daughter I will rip you to shreds."

"You are talking just like a dad" Paul laughed. "I'm taking Sarah into the house to play with Sterling"

"Who is Sterling?" Jake questioned.

"Where have you been? Sterling is my new baby brother, he was born a year before Sarah" Paul replied.

"Oh shit, yeah I remember, just don't tell your mom I forgot, she will fillet me"

"I'd love to see that" Paul laughed, walking towards the house carrying Sarah in one arm and the bags in the other.

Paul sat, Sarah on her feet and a little boy walked up and wrapped his arms around her pulling her into a hug. Sarah immeadiately became annoyed and pushed the little boy down before walking away.

"Hey Sarah be nice to Sterling, he is just trying to give you a hug" Jake spoke as he watched his daughter.

"She definitely has your attitude bro" Paul smirked as he walked by.

"What can I say, I have Alpha genes" Laughing Jake walked into the kitchen to greet his father.

Leaning on the door jam, Jake watched his father who was cleaning up a spill he made earlier. "Do you need help?" Jake questioned, catching his fathers attention.

Billy shook his head before throwing away the paper towels he used. "How is the wife and family doing. What did you name the little girl again?"

"My wife and family is coming along very well." Pausing to take a breath, Jake continued. "Her name is Sarah Renee"

Billy smiled at the sound of his wifes name, since the day of her death, her name was not spoken until today. "Your mother would be so happy and proud of you today, you know that son"

"Yeah, I know" Clearing his throat Jake looked behind him when he heard his daughters cry. Moving quickly from his spot in the kitchen Jake picked up his daughter who was just pushed down by Sterling. "We are staying at Charlie's while we are in town."

"Yeah I know, I spoke to him this morning." Looking to Sarah, Billy moved a bit closer. "Sarah is going to be a spectacular Alpha someday. You can see it in her eyes."

Taking a step back Jacob shook his head. "She will not be forced into this"

"The pack is going to need a leader, and it all falls on her, no one else is qualified to step up to this. Alpha runs in the blood"

"We talked about this, I will not make my daughter do something that she doesn't want to do. I'm not going to plan her life out for her when she is only a year old." Jake growled.

"Well you should think about it?"

"This conversation is over dad" Jake said before walking from the house.

Paul ran out after him, carrying his baby brother. "Where are you going? You just got here"

"We are going to Charlies" Jake snapped. "I have a daughter that needs a nap, and a wife that needs to rest." Buckling his daughter up securely, Jake moved to the drivers seat. "You can bring Sterling over to Charlies if you want Sarah and him to have a play date, I'm not stepping foot back on this soil." Finishing his words, Jake turned the truck on and quickly drove away.
