"Now, when I remove my hands, keep your eyes closed. I want you to tell me how it tastes like, but you can't look, okay?"

"I'm scared." I said honestly. "What if you give me a habenero pepper?"

Zayn chuckled. "Abigail, I'm not that evil. I'll only give you a jalapeño, which is not as spicy as a habenero." He joked.

I frowned. "Sir!"

I heard his throaty laugh once again "Joking, Abigail. I won't give you anything spicy."

"Swear?"

He chuckled again. "It's a promise."

I nodded. "Okay then, I won't open my eyes."

"Good."

I felt him remove his hands from my eyes, and I resisted the urge to peek.

We had woken up about an hour ago, and now it was around 11 in the morning. While I had quickly showered, Zayn had ordered us breakfast, but when he led me to the minature dining room, he kept my eyes covered, having me guessing at what his motives were.

"I want you to try something new." He'd told me as he lead me into the dining room.

And now, I was slightly nervous as to what he'd wanted me to try as I sat down in the chair with my eyes closed.

I felt something brush against my lips. "Bite."

I took a small bite out of whatever he had held at my mouth, chewing it slowly.

"What do you taste?"

It was a mixture of sweet, cinnamony flavors, but then something salty? Creamy?

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Cinnamon...?"

"Good." He said in approval. "What else?"

"It has a bread-like texture...no, harder...maybe a scone?"

"Try again."

"Bagel?"

"Exactly. Keep going."

"Um, is that..." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Garlic?"

He chuckled. "No."

I was almost sure that was garlic. "Oh! Is it onion?"

"And what else?"

"Eww, thats gross. How are there onions and cinnamon together?"

"Just keep going! It doesn't taste as bad as it seems, right?"

"I guess not." Sure, it was an interesting mix, but it wasn't terrible. "Um, chives? I think."

"Yes, exactly!"

"What is it?" I asked.

"Open your eyes."

I immediately opened them, glancing down at the plate before me.

It was a bagel, covered in cinnamon. I picked it up, and noticed what looked like some spread in between the slices.

"What is it?" I asked.
