Chapter 5:


I fell asleep for a couple minuets and kept waking up to emptiness. I looked up at the dark sky, but nothing was there. If I can't walk... Why not crawl? I decided on the idea of crawling my way out of the forest but this was going to take a while. I crawl through mud, puddles, thorns, and bushes but I really was lost. My whole body was sore and I was bleeding everywhere. I took out my bun hairstyle and made a loose braid so my head wouldn't feel so tight. When I surely started thinking I was a goner, I turned east and saw dim lights. The capitol! I crawled faster until I was on a road. I could see a concerned capitol citizen running towards me. "Katniss!?" She screams. I nod and smile. The lady picks me up and while driving me to the hospital, I black out again.
