Ocean’s Pov

I’d been in this colony for 12 hours and I knew that my parents and mates were really worried but Marine said that we needed to wait for the witch who will start the ceremony.

Yes I was really excited about the ceremony and gaining a new ability, a new identity but I couldn’t shake the weird feeling in me.

I wanted to finish this and go back home to Logan, Nicolai and my parents because no matter what I ignore, I knew something was wrong. And I do anything to make them safe. Anything…

“Ocean, we are ready sweetie.” Said Marine

The witch we were waiting for arrived. She was talking to Jaquah then; she must have sensed me, because she turned around and looked at me with a beautiful smile. All mermaids must be really beautiful because as far as I can see, they are.

“Queen Amelia. My name is Welda.” She used my first name and bowed. But no one uses my first name

“I’m not the queen yet.” I said, she raised and smiled widely

“You are our chosen Queen since you were born Amelia.”

“Why are you using my first name?” I asked finally

“Your name is coming from Amelia Delilah Corvinues, wife of Michael Corvinues. She was accepted as our sacred queen here of course, before you. I’m using her name because I can see her in your eyes and your heart.”

I didn’t know that my great great grandma was this important for them. I mean she was important of course because she was a witch, a very very powerful one and of course wife of Michael Corvinues but I never taught she could be the Sacred Queen of them.

“We can talk everything you want to know after the ceremony. There are important matters to talk to.” 

They took me to a room. It was the biggest room I’ve ever seen. It was like a large house made from one room. There was a big chamber in the middle of the room.  Everyone was around it. There were hundreds of mermaids and mermans in the room. They were sitting side by side.

When we entered the room, they looked up and smiled at me. Not one of their faces had a bad expression. They were looking at me with awe and… love? Could this be it? Could I have their love without even them seeing me?

Marine took me to the center of the chamber. I didn’t even know what to do but thanks to Welda she showed me where I should stay which is a small pool. They said that it was necessary for the shifting process.

Suddenly out of nowhere everyone was chanting the same words but I knew it’s language. Language of ancient siréos... In that moment the words because meaningful in my head. The way they shaped and sculptured was magnificent. They were flowing through my head and heart.

I felt a tingle on my arms. I turned to look at them but shocked with the stamps on them. They were beautifully shining. Mina came next to me and led me to water slowly. Meanwhile people around us were going crazy. They were holding each other’s’ hands and leaning closer to where I stand

Suddenly they changed the words they are saying and I knew that it was close to end.

Mina held my hand when I entered the water and then let go. The water started to boil around me and my legs felt numb. Everything happened in a few second. My hair flew, my legs turned into a huge tale. The stamps on my body were shining like a glass in sunlight. The ritual was over.

It was beautiful but everything ended when Mina fell to the ground trembling. Her eyes were pure white and her irises weren’t showing. I didn’t care if I had a tale instead of legs. I jumped towards her and held her hand. When her hand touched mine her eyes came back to their beautiful green and looked at me.

“The war is started. The dark side is in front of the east gate of the palace.”

Logan’s Pov

“What do you mean Ocean isn’t in the palace?!” Stefan shouted with fury

“I told you ok. I let you get in to the palace. I did everything you wanted. Now let my family go!” I yelled

Yes I knew I betrayed Ocean. I love her more than anything in the whole universe but when this lunatic man captured my little sister and my mother there was no choice but helping him.

I learned their captivity when we came to the palace. Stefan said that when he realized that he couldn’t convince Edward because of his love to Ocean, he found me and used my weak point by capturing my little sister.

“Where the hell is she then?!” he screamed. “We are here for her. It’s useless when she is not here!”

Oh god, help me with my next words.

“They said that she w-went to mermaid kingdom. They are giving her the sacred title.” I whispered but he must have heard me because he threw the desk in front of him and held me against the wall.

“Do you know what will happen when she gains another form? She will be invincible!” he screamed again

I was shocked. I didn’t know that he was scared from her that bad but I didn’t comment on it. He looked petrified. He looked like who could do anything to stop Ocean.

I’m sorry Ocean but until my family is free, I can’t do anything to protect you.

Stefan’s Pov

She will gain another form. I’m dead. If she gains her mermaid form she will be invincible. There will be no chance to beat her.

She has no idea what she is capable of. She doesn’t know anything about the seven kingdom prophecy. She only knows 5 kingdom but when/if she becomes the queen she is meant to be then there will be two more.

Demons and rouges… People say that rouges are the ones who run away from home but what they don’t know is they become a werewolf if they have one human parent and one werewolf.

They are hybrids and some of them are even stronger than normal werewolves. And if she becomes the sacred queen then everyone will join her.

God damn it! She doesn’t even know who she will become when she takes over the throne!
