Chapter 31~ A hard day's night

I woke up and sat up on my bed yawning and fighting the sleepiness "you're finally awake Prudes!" It was Paul he was sitting on John's bed reading some book and I noticed how I was in his bed, he noticed that I was looking around  

"You fell asleep while we were singing yesterday, our songs are that boring?"he asked and I chuckled  

"no! They're great really,I like them very much and you don't really need my opinion look how many fans you've got!" I said

"Nah your opinion is important to me. do you still play?" he asked changing the subject and I shook my head 

"I..couldn't bring my guitar ..when my mum ki..kicked me out.." I explained and he closed his book and put it on the drawer then laid next to me on his bed I sighed and laid next to him and he started to play with my loose hair and coil it around his finger.

we stayed like that for a while then I got the courage to speak "I never thought that a fight with mum would end up like that.." I started and he turned to face me while resting his head on his arm and continued to play with my hair

"It was just too much, how she never really cared about what we wanted, she didn't care about anyone but her rich husband. and not only carelessness but she was keeping us a part from the things that we love " I paused "I know I was rude when I told her this but..I really wish it was her dead" I said while Paul rubbed my back

"Dad would have never sadden us! he'd do everything he could just to please us! He's the one who cared" I started to sob "I want him back Paul" Paul pulled me closer into a hug, he knew that he didn't have to say anything, he knew that I always feel better just by telling him everything

"thank you for listening Paul" I whispered into his ear  "I missed you"

"I missed you too Prudes" he said then pulled away and took my hand

"I've been wondering where is the bracelet which your dad had given you, you've never taken it off before"he asks

"I gave it to Clarabella right before leaving" I explain and he nods

"do you think I'll ever meet her again?" I asked and he nodded with an assuring smile and I smiled back at him.

we stayed quiet for a while just laying on the bed staring at the ceiling and that was enough for me to be happy.

then it hit me "Paul, don't leave me again" I said

"I will never leave you again Prudence" he said but I was still afraid that I'll be alone again.

he put his fingers under my chin then made me face him "I promise " he said which made me smile then I kissed his cheek just in time John entered

"hey love birds, can't you stay away from each other for a while? what would you do tonight then!?" he teased but I was confused by the last question and forgot about the first comment

"tonight? what's going to happen tonight?" I asked and noticed Paul glaring at John

"spill it out John!"I demanded

"ah..alright. .We are going to give a live television performance on The Ed something show, have you ever heard of that?" John asked and I nodded

"that's all , do you want to come?" he asked and didn't wait for answer "that's gear, what are we going to do today then?" he asked and paul answered

"I um need to go buy something " he said then got up and headed towards the door

"I'm coming with you!" John said and ran after him then shut the door 'typical Lennon' I thought then I got out of the bed careful not to make any movement that would hurt my back.
