To: Ella

Tonight?

My eyes grew wider.

From: Ella

Yeah, and after you can hit up this party with me. I need a plus one anyway.

I guess my eyes nearly popped out of my head, because soon Bianca and Nick were on either side of me, looking over my shoulder, and into the phone screen. Once they both got a good look at the text, they recoiled.

"No." They both said in unison.

I rolled my eyes. "Why not, mom and dad?"

"Because," Bianca said. "You don't even know who's going to be at the party, or what magazine that's gonna have your face on their next issue."

"And it's a school night," Nick added. "Going to a party with a bunch of twenty year-olds isn't really a good idea on a school night."

"A lot of them are nineteen, thank you."

Rolling their eyes, I realized they were right. Along with the fact I'm also petrified of what Jack is going to think of me. I mean, he's never even seen me that night we bumped into each other. For all I know, he could think I'm some kind of celebrity or model.

To: Ella

Sorry, I can't. High school homework is an ass :/

From: Ella

Wait. You're in high school? Sorry, I thought you were old enough to get into a club :/

I giggled a bit.

To: Ella

I can. I'm 18

From: Ella

Good to know.
