Tris POV: I woke early and slid on my newly-washed dauntless clothes, thanks to Peeta. I wrote a note giving my thanks and left it on the counter, then wrapped up a slice of his chocolate cake and put it in a backpack I found in my room. I peeked into his room, just to see him one more time before I left. Its hard to admit that I have grown fond of him and surprisingly his daughter too. I usually don't like children, but somehow I felt the tiniest pull.

I gently shut the door and left. Just as i was heading out, i heard a voice behind me.

"Where are you going?" Said Peeta in a somewhat hurt voice. I turned and looked at him

"I have to get back to four, my only family, back at dauntless. I really appreciate your help, but i cant stay forever."

"Look, I understand more than you could know, but wherever your from, its a long way from here. Ive never heard of anything you've described to me." He said. I stood, contemplating my options, when he said "Just stay for a little while longer, until we work something out" he pleaded. My shoulders sagged as I finally gave in

"Only for a little while. And I'm gonna need some new clothes because this is all I've got." I said, pulling on my dark shirt.

"I think I've got something that will work" he said as he turned and walked to a part of his house I had not seen before. He came back holding a light blue sleeveless dress that flowed out at the waist. "I know its not your style, but its what we have.

"Its alright, as far as dresses go, its alright." I quickly changed into the dress and walked out to show Peeta. "It fits perfectly, you must have a very small wife." I said, twirling around in the dress.

"Its not my wife's." He said, and I looked up to see a single tear falling down his grief stricken face.
