Jisoo Kim threw her keys her blue bowl by the door as she enters her apartment - at this point this is already muscle memory. Every time she comes home from work she would throw her keys in her blue bowl by the door, open the tv and crack open a bottle of beer to go with her dinner.
It was getting kind of boring.
Yeah, it was.
As the sun rises and another day starts Jisoo drags herself out of bed and into work - she stops for a cup of coffee like always at Wendy's Cafe - Wendy who was waiting outside at the coffee shop stops Jisoo from entering and shoved a coffee cup at her
"Woah" Jisoo takes as step back as the coffee almost spills, "What's up, Wendy?" She asks her friends, who Jisoo realizes is wearing a worried look and sort of scared expression.
"Are you okay?" She immediately asks, "Did something happen?"
The cafe owner shakes her head hastily which led her to believe that the other girl is lying - "What's up?" Jisoo asks again this time more suspicious that concerned
"Nothing - I just know that you'd want the usual so as your friend - I didn't want you to be late for your job so I went out here to personally deliver your coffee" Wendy smiles innocently but her upper right lip is quivering which is her tell that that girl was lying
Her curiousity got the best of her and she stands there for a few more seconds looking at Wendy suspiciously then she looked around to see anything out of the ordinary - nothing was. The road is busy as always, traffic being extra heavy due to the road repairs.
Jisoo peaked inside the cafe through the window if anything stands out but before she could reach a conclusion Wendy blocked her view - aha! so there is something.
Before Wendy can think Jisoo had stepped sideways and entered the cafe abruptly which made half of the half filled room look at her including a few people waiting on the side but nothing stands out to Jisoo
"-no wait!" Wendy follows her but quickly shuts up - her scared expression now turns into worried
"Did you bake brownies again and you didn't want me to have any?" Jisoo asks Wendy in confusion and slight annoyance of getting her riled up for nothing
"Y-yes, they're still getting prepared though" Wendy reasons - her expression more relaxed yet unreadable
"Well save me a box" Jisoo says and walks out of the cafe
Wendy eye's follows her to see if there was anything off and surprisingly there wasn't - well...Not that surprising.

Chaeyoung looks up and follows a scene at her newly discovered Cafe where a woman in her late 20s abruptly went inside the cafe and raved on about brownies to the Manager.
She must be mental, Chaeyoung thought as her eye's follow the stranger as she leaves.

When Jisoo arrived at her office building, Jennie Kim was at the lobby greeting her.
Jennie is her cousin and she never greets her.
"What's with you and Wendy today? You're both acting weird" Jisoo mentions as Jennie follows her like a lost dog all the way to her office
"Are you okay" Jennie asks, her eyes filled with concern - very rarely happens
"Why wouldn't I be?" She asks
"Nothing - Just asking" Jennie says and then walks away leaving Jisoo with a perflexed look
"What was that about" Jisoo whispers to herself

When it was time to go home, Jisoo was greeted once again by her cousin begging her to come join her for a couple of drinks.
"C'mon - Sehun would be there" Jennie pleads
"Why would I be excited to see Sehun?" Jisoo asks
"Cause he's our friend whom we haven't seen in a long time" Jennie blocks her door, "Plus Wendy said she'll bring your brownies there so if you don't go there's no brownies"
"Ugh, fine."
The bar they went to was a fairly popular club which meant they had to get a VIP room for them to even hear each other. Jennie was right, she was excited to hang out with Sehun.
The four of them talked and talked and drank when it was time leave and go home - Sehun had pulled her aside to ask how she was doing, which Jisoo found odd cause why is that a private question?
"I'm fine - I guess?" Jisoo answers, "There's really nothing much going on in my life other than work and well - this"
"Are you gonna go back on the dating scene?" Sehun asks more carefully
"Why are you gonna introduce me to someone?" She asks playfully
Sehun shakes his head and chuckles, "No one can match your crazy standards"
That conversation stayed with her even as she lays in her bed trying to sleep. Maybe that's what she needs - a girlfriend so she can look forward to walking up again.
Before she falls asleep - Jisoo signs up for a dating app. She swipes left and right basing on the intro and the picture.
She succumbed to sleep before she sees the notification
