Cagney continued to tell you to let them know what they needed to know but you didn't listen..you weren't going to let them win..you had to do this..do this for cuphead..keep fighting until he finds you..you don't know how long it's been..days?? weeks maybe?..
You didn't know all you did know was that you weren't giving up you couldn't give up..you can't give up..not yet..for all you know you could be one minute closer to being freed..you were so hungry..so tired..so scared..so sore....
"Cuppy..please..c-come soon.." you whimpered
"You do know he can't hear you right?" Cagney asked
"I-i believe he C-can-"

fuck another stupid idea made by Hilda..another day mugs couldn't and didn't help..it's been a fucking week!.
We were sitting on the side of the road doing this!.
"Cuphead? Are you okay?"
"No" i replied
"Do you need to take a few minutes to calm down?" Hilda asked
"No" i replied
"Cuphead your clearly upset-"
"Of course I'm fucking upset! My girlfriends been kidnapped! I haven't slept properly in a week because of it! Mugs won't help me! Daisy won't help us and we are no step closer to figuring out a fucking plan!"
I snapped..
I stood up..
"I'm sorry Hilda but I can't take it anymore I'm going to search every building in the inkwell isles if I have to I'm going to find my girlfriend..I'll see you later.."
I didn't even give her a chance to respond I just walked off..but of course she followed..
"Cuphead going in without a plan in suicide! We don't know what this garden is capable of and you and mugman don't have your powers!"
"I don't care I'll die trying!"
"Don't be stupid!"
"Stupid? Stupid?! You know whats fucking stupid sitting around and doing nothing! There is a chunk of me missing! a hole! that I can't fill because she fills it! I can't keep this up! I'm going to die of fatigue! Or or! alcohol poisoning with the rate I've been drinking and not sleeping!..I can't do this anymore I can't sit here and pretend everything is okay anymore when the love of my life is out there somewhere scared and possibly injured if even alive!"
I angrily declared looking back at her with eyebrows facing down and my hand on my chest when I said 'I can't fill'.
I went back to walking however though determined with my mission..
Hilda was quick to speed up and walk ahead of me before stopping forcing me to stop as well..
"What?" I sternly asked
"Don't be stern with me you short bastard!" Hilda replied sternly pointing a finger.
"Then get the fuck!. Out of my way.." i sternly replied gritting my teeth..Hilda sighed..
"Cuphead I know how you feel..why do you think I wanted him to send me letters? Why do you think I've been so concerned about Cagney and searching for him for so long? Do you really think it's because we're best mates?..no!..I have a huge crush on the guy! I'm worried sick for him do you think I want to be sitting around doing nothing? Making these plans? Or ideas?" Hilda asked
"No.." i replied
"No! So come sit back down and let's think this through!" Hilda stated
I grumbled under my breath alot but huffed..
"Fine"
"Cuphead! Cuphead! Cupheeaad!!"
Mugs??
Hilda and I looked up the street at the mug running towards us..he slammed on his breaks.
"Mugs..what do you want?" I sternly asked
"Cuphead I know your pissed off at me but..I did it..cuphead I worked it out..I think...when we were in the casino last night I overheard devil and dice talking about our powers and how elder kettles inkwell will help us get them back ..also how they wanted to steal some for themselves..by the way the devil still has his angel wings their just rotting away!-"
Mugman ranted
What?..the devil has wings??..
"Mugs get to the point!" I replied
"I know how to get our powers back I know how to make the potion!" Mugman announced
My whole body lit up..
"Well let's fucking go let's go make it take it and save Y/N and Cagney!" I replied
"One problem.." mugman stated
"What?" I asked
"We still have no clue where they are!" Mugman stated
I pulled at the sides of my face..my black bagged eyes..
"And..you should probably rest before we save them.." he continued
"I can't fucking sleep..not without Y/N"
I replied
"Can I help?" Hilda asked
Mugman nodded
"Of course! Once we work out where they are we'll come get you and we'll ambush them!" He replied
Hilda nodded.
"For now we need you on alert we can't let any of the imps get even a drop of the potion back to the devil..I don't know what he would do with those wings.." mugman continued
"He really has wings?" I asked
"Yeah but they're rotting away..it's kind of gross..but he is a fallen angel so.." mugman replied
"And your buddy?.. Gabriel?.." i asked
Mugman seemed to freeze..
"Well umm..about Gabriel..turns out uhh..hes an angel..he was sent to help us get the potion back..he's..gone now..he tried to steal the ingredients for the potion to take back up to heaven or for himself whichever it was I stopped him.." mugman replied
"No wonder why daisy didn't like hanging around..he could probably sense Gabriel was up to no good" i replied mugman nodded.
"Probably"
"Right it's fine let's go put this potion together!" I declared grabbing mugs arm..I dragged him back the way he came but soon let him go to walk on his own and keep up with me..Hilda trailed not far behind mugman..
Don't worry Y/N cuppys coming just hold on a little longer......please....
