It was daisy the flower creature seemed scared.
"Hey daisy..this is Y/N..she's my princess..my girlfriend it's alright she won't hurt you"
"Hi daisy"
The flower looked at you but pulled on the cups shorts again.
"I think he's hungry.."
"Oh what does he eat?"
"Dirt I'll feed him in a second but I want to ask you something"
"Okay?"
"..do you want to go on a proper date? Tonight? To a restaurant? Maybe for dinner my treat?"
Your E/C eyes widened a little but you nodded.
"Yeah that sounds lovely..but..your eye.."
He smiled softly
"Don't worry bout it it'll heal princess"
You blushed but nodded.
"I'm gonna go feed daisy do you wanna come?" He asked
"I don't want to be here by myself so..yeah I'll come.."
He took your hand and the too of you followed daisy to the kitchen where the cup dished up a bowl of literal dirt for the flower handing him a spoon.
The flower happily took it and sat down at the table.
You still had the frozen peas in your hand.
"Do you want me to put that away?" He asked
You shook your head.
"No..you should have it on your eye for a little while longer at least"
"I'm alright princess i-"
You placed it gently back on the cups sore eye this caught him off guard but he relaxed into the cold numbing feeling of the peas.
"That actually feels nice.."
"Maybe we should wait for a proper date..when we're both okay"
"Whatdya mean both okay? Are you okay?" He asked in concern
"Yes I just meant both %100 no injurys?"
"%100 so we can give the date %100?"
"Yeah"
The cup smiled.
"Alright"

~timeskip 2 days later~

It had been 2 days and the cups eye had recovered he came to see you and your mother alot after the casino sometimes.
However tonight was finally the night were you could both go for a nice date together.
You were in the fanciest clothes you owned and were waiting patiently for the cup to pick you up.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

you got up and opened the door.
There he was.
He was wearing a black shirt with brown pants that were overalls.
"Princess! Ready to go for our date?"
"You bet"
"Have Fun Honey!" Your mum called through the house.
"We will mum! I love you"
"Love you to!"
"Don't worry she's in safe hands I promise I'll bring her home safe!"
"I don't doubt that!"
The cup chuckled and you both pulled the door shut as you left the house and went to a restaurant.
When you both arrived you sat at a table together across from eachother, some people did give you both dirty or disgusted looks but the cup would shoot death glares at them or ignore them and continue to talk to you with big black pupils clearly full of love 😍.

The cup put his head on one of his hands looking at you in awe.
"Your so fucking adorable~"
You blushed and smiled.
"Th-Thank you"
"I could just stare at you for hours~"
Your blush deepened.
"Good news~ i~ learnt how to kiss properly! So now my princess can have proper kisses!~"
You were insanely red.
"Th-thank you..a-and that is good news"
"Uhhuh"
"Sh-should we look at the menu?"
"I already am..I could just have you for dinner~?"
He put his other hand out and grabbed yours.
You realised what he was doing..and your blush faded.
He was trying to flirt..
He was doing better then you.
"A-are you flirting?"
The cup frowned.
"Shit..yes sorry I'm not good at it"
"Your better then me"
"Oh I highly doubt that"
"Really?"
"Go on hit me"
"No No im- I'm good"
"Come on~ you can't be that bad!"
"You uh..have something in your eye....nope just a sparkle.."
The cups pupils shrunk but he did blush a little.
"Eh your right but hey it was pretty cute seein you try"
You smiled.
"My turn....can I offer you a drink? Top on the menu is me~"
You blushed and felt a lump in your throught that was better then you still bad but better.
"I win your redder then me!"
"I didn't know we were competing.."
"We were~"
You felt one of his feet touch your leg and perked up a bit.
He rubbed his shoe and leg on yours.
You swallowed the lump in your throught hard.
"Maybe we should order~"
He passed you a menu and you both looked when you were both ready you ordered from the waitress.
As you waited for your meals to arrive you got to know eachother even more and the cup told you some jokes that made you laugh.
When your food arrived you both ate and once it was gone the cup started walking you home.
"Soooo~"
He purred up to you.
"Do you think your mum will mind me staying the night at yours?"
"You-want to stay the night?"
"Yep! Sure do I'd love to! Or~ even better you can stay at mine!"
You shook your head.
"I'm sorry..I'm..not ready to leave my mum alone again yet..I've had you to help me with what happened to my dad but she only has me now..I hear her crying some nights at the kitchen table..crying for dad..if I left her alone..i-"
"Hey..hey it's alright..I understand it's going to be okay..I'll come over I'll just ring mugs..that is if your mum let's me stay.."
You nodded but fell silent.
"Princess..what are you thinking about?"
The cup worriedly asked looking up at you slightly.
"Mum....I have my soulmate..I have you..mum lost hers..I couldn't begin to imagine what that feels like could you? Imagine losing me or me losing you..we can't..I feel hopeless I wanna take her pain away but I can't.."
The cup took your hand and stopped you from walking.
"Princess look at me.."
You did.
"Your doing all that you can to help your mum..even knowing right now that you shouldn't leave her alone that that is enough"
"But-"
"No buts"
He stood on his tiptoes and tucked your H/C hair behind your ear.
"I promise you..you'll both be okay..alright?..you both doing your best that's what matters I'm proud of how much your fighting"
He pecked your lips before pulling away and going back down normally on his too feet.
"Im so proud princess"
"I'm sorry I ruined the lovely night"
"You didn't ruin anything princess you could never Ever ruin anything"
You blushed and the cup walked you towards your home.
