* Kitty is sat on the floor staring into space attempting to calm herself in a panic attack, Storm opens the door to the roof and she is taken back to see Kitty and she rushes to her*// Storm- Kitty, what is it? * she sits beside Kitty and puts her arm around her shoulder* just breathe, it is okay breathe... what is it?// Kitty- nothing, just an episode * she is gasping trying to calm herself* I'm fine * she places her hands over her eyes are she calms down// Storm- should I go get Logan?// Kitty- NO! not a chance// Storm- tell me what it is?// Kitty- just my anxiety, I'm fine okay I'm fine * she stands up and so does Storm looking concerned, she wipes her eyes as she takes a deep breath*//Storm- Kitty, talk to me// Kitty- I just need to be alone, can I have a minute please// Storm- are you sure * she turns her back to put her arms on the wall*// Kitty- yeah, I'm sure// Storm- okay * she puts a hand on her shoulder and walks away as she hears the door close and she sighs and composes herself before walking back into the room and seeing Storm, Banshee and Bobby all cooking*// Banshee- I'm gonna make pasta on the fire * Kitty gently smiles * she catches Logan and Bishop leave in the corner of her eye as she looks down* 

* after a few hours they eat and settle down talking and laughing as night is approaching*// Kitty- I think I better do a perimeter check// Alex- hey, I'll come with you * they walk out of the apartment and walk around*// Alex- why have you been crying?// Kitty- I haven't it's the smoke// Alex- nice try baby girl, what is up with you// Kitty- honestly I'm fine * he sighs and shakes his head* come on * they walks down an  alley*// Alex- you know what I'm missing?// Kitty- despite our own beds?// Alex- music, beer and fast food// Kitty- yes, and chocolate and cake and mcdonalds// Alex- you're just a cute lil kid at heart ain't you// Kitty- when you're denied a childhood, expect regression// Alex- that is dark// Kitty- and also a joke, I just like the food// Alex- a girl after my own heart// Kitty- should have sent the others to get some chocolate// Alex- yes, now that is a good shout * they talk for an hour before noticing more fires*// Alex- this ain't good, where is the icicle when you need him// Kitty- come on * they both run up to the flames and see the city burning as flames are rising higher and higher and ash is flying around in the air, Kitty uses her hands to block her face from the heat*// Alex- is that a man * Kitty looks to see a couple of soldiers demanding a mutant to use his powers to burn the city down*// Kitty- get down * they hide behind a car as they watch the man hit with a gun in his head and he drops to the floor holding his head as Kitty sprints as Alex attempts to grab her but she phases and uses her powers to hit the men away as she holds out a hand to the man and he she holds out a hand and he stares at her before taking it and she pulls him up as Alex rushes upto her*// Alex- wait for me next time * he looks at the man*Da Costa, the hell are you doing here * they hug*// Sunspot- being tortured and held captive, the hell are you doing here// Alex- fighting the good fight, oh this is Roberto Da Costa, sunspot// Roberto- thanks for the save darling// Kitty- my pleasure, how's the head?// Roberto- all the better for seeing you guys// Alex- how did they have you?// Roberto- they took Pyro and I, they've been making us destroy the city// KItty- anyone else?// Roberto- no, just us// Alex- do you know where he is?// Roberta- roughly// Alex- lead the way * they walk*// Kitty- should we not consult the others?// Alex- I'll take the wrap for this// Kitty- alex we should really go back// Alex- relax, we got this * she meets his gaze and nods as they continue to walk for awhile, Kitty is clearly anxious *// Kitty- so they made you burn the city*// Sunspot- I have no choice, there is a chip in my neck that they use to control my powers// Alex- where abouts? * they stop as Kitty looks as a small wound on his neck as she looks at him and phases her hand into his neck and grabs it before taking it out and examining it*// Sunspot- that is fucking creepy, what else can you do// Alex- focus Da Costa// Sunspot- right, sorry * he looks at his hands producing fire then in an instant his whole body is lit into flames before he returns back to normal smirking, Kitty puts the chip in her belt to examine later in*// Kitty- let's keep moving// Storm -*radio* Havoc, shadow cat do you copy * Alex pulls out his radio*// Alex- we hear you storm, go ahead// Storm- where are you?// Alex- we ran into a little trouble and found an old friend, we have to go save Pyro but we will be back soon// Strom- old friend? who?  do you need backup? what will Wolverine say// Kitty- no we got this, we'll let him say hi * hands the radio to Roberto*// sunspot- hey Stormy// Storm- sunspot? is that you?// Sunspot- who else// Storm- good lord, it is so good to hear from you!// Sunspot- you too, we're gonna be an hour or 2, we'll be right back okay// Storm- be safe and keep in touch// Alex- copy that * he puts the radio back into his belt and they walk to a car*// Alex- wanna do the honours * Kitty phases the door opens and sit's in the drivers seat hot playing with the wires as the car starts and Alex smiles*// Roberto- let me drive, I know the location// Kitty- switch * she phases through him into the back seat as he climbs over and begins to drive, after a long hour Alex turns to Kitty*// Alex- are you alright// Kitty- yeah, are you?// Alex- are you sure?// Kitty- you never answered my question// Alex- you never answered my 2nd question * she looks at him* what?// Kitty- has storm said anything to you?// Alex- what? no// Kitty- you're lying// Alex- not really she just said you were upset * she nods annoyed* hey it's okay, when you're ready to talk we're all here// Kitty- I'm fine Alex// Alex- okay * he smiles at her before turning away as they drive for another 2 hours until they start seeing more of the city destroyed by huge flames*// Alex- pull over, they have sentinels there, let's go * they all get out and walk towards some sentinels*// Sunspot- so what's the plan// Kitty- you guy's hold them off and I'll phase him out of there even though I don't like him// Sunspot- yeah he is a bit of an asshole// Alex- better get ready then * As they get closer the sentinels start to notice there and shoot as Alex and Sunspot use their powers to fire back as Kitty sprints and phases through the blasts and runs towards the fire weaving in and out at sentinels as Kitty hears the robots telling her to freeze and stand down*// Kitty- well that's new * she blasts through bullets and uses her powers to hit the soldiers away and blasts Pyro in the process, He looks up at her annoyed then his face turns to shock*// Pyro- girly// Kitty- Pyro * he stands up she phases the chip out of his neck looking at it*// Pyro- what the hell//KItty- you're welcome, move * she runs off as he follows and she blasts the sentinels and Pyro uses his powers to melt them too until they meet up with the others and they all run back to the car as Sunspot drives and Alex and Kitty are in the back they look at one another grinning as they drive*// Pyro- thanks for the save// Alex- if it was left to me, you'd be left behind// Pyro- noted to leave you behind in any future altercations// Sunspot- did they mention where they are taking the leftover bodies?// Alex- bodies?// Pyro- they executed most of the mutants they had captive, we are the only lucky ones// Sunspot- lucky, yeah * they drive back and ditch the car and walk through the ruins back to the base as they walk in the house and the others look shocked// Storm- Sunspot! * she runs into his arms and they embrace// Banshee- only 2?// Kitty- yeah, any survivors were executed * Kitty walks back and sit's down on the floor by a coffee table and pulls out the chips*// Kitty- come check these out * everyone gathers around the table* these we're controling how and when Sunspot and Pyro could use their powers, I phased them off their necks// Bobby- those little chips?// Sunspot- it hurt really bad// Alex- maybe they latched onto a nerve ending/// Kitty- yeah, I think so// Storm- let's wrap them up and put them away until Wolverine and Bishop are back// Pyro- no way, the great wolverine is here fighting these bots, brilliant * he chuckles*// Storm- come let me tend to your wounds * Storm leads Sunspot away to a room*// Pyro- are you gonna stitch me up pretty boy * Bobby looks annoyed*// Bobby feel free to bleed out// Pyro- what about you sweet cheeks * Kitty glares at him*// Warpath- we'll fix him up and decide what to do with him later// Kitty- get me the first aid * Bobby fetches a bag as Pyro sits on a sideboard smirking as he takes off his shirt revealing a stab wound in his collar bone and other cuts and bruises*// Pyro- try not to bet too excited// Kitty- I'll try not to cause you too much pain * she stares at him annoyed before she sets the bag down beside him and starts to clean the wound as he watches her and Alex and Warpath glare at him never taking their eyes off him*// Warpath- so you and the other guy we're forced to burn the city down// Pyro- yeah, and no I did not enjoy it. I helped build this place, it was not a nice feeling. but I am alive so what can I say, I have determination* Kitty meets his gaze before she returns to what she is doing as they boys talk, Kitty begins to stitch the wound*// Pyro- speaking of burning, how is that scar of yours *Kitty's eye glare at his* I hope it healed nice * Kitty looks down and keeps stitching* did you forgive Erik// Alex- what're you talking about// Kitty- you need to shut up // * she keeps stitching as he winces*//Alex- Kit// Kitty- things he doesn't know about// Warpath- Erik scared you?// Kitty- no don't be stupid // Alex- Magneto is here so we'll ask him// Pyro- he's here, oh good, a friendly face, well not friendly but an ally// Alex- no hang on a minute, what are you guys talking about// Pyro- quite funny and traumatic really, you see-// Kitty- finish that sentence and I'll kill you// * Logan walks in looking annoyed*// Logan- what the hell is going on here// Alex- we have 2 new members// Logan- like hell is here staying here * Kitty puts the bandage on him and back away to clean up the first aid, Pyro stands up and put's on his shirt*// Pyro- thanks girly * he smacks her butt as Logan and Alex rush to him but Kitty punches him in the jaw and he falls back onto the side table rubbing his jaw and smirking, Alex and Logan stop*// Pyro- my kinda woman, booty and brawn * Kitty walks out of the room to the kitchen and washes the blood off her hands*// Warpath- I sense a lot of anger// Kitty- what?// warpath- you are angry// Kitty- no, I'm annoyed * she dry's her hands* there is a difference, excuse me * she walks past him up to the apartment roof and sit's on the wall overlooking the city realizing how alone she is feeling as tears run down her face*// Alex- what is with you and ledges// Kitty- comfort that's what// Alex- that's dark// Kitty- it will make sense one day// * he sit's next to her*// Alex- why do you watch a burning city// Kitty- the city is always burning....is there something you need// Alex- again just checking on you// Kitty- you always seem to do that, usually because people want something from me// Alex- no, there are still good people out there * she looks at him and Storm sits beside her too and puts her arm around Kitty*// Storm- Alex is right, for a change// Alex- hey, I'm always right// Storm- do you want to talk about what is bothering you// Kitty- no// Storm- do you want us to sit with you// Kitty- okay// Alex- okay, now we're getting somewhere, should have brought the snacks// * they sit there talking until Logan walks through the roof door*// Logan- let's get a briefing * they stand and all walk to living room where Bishop and Warpath are talking over a map and the others join*// Bishop- we found the base, we're gonna draw them out of this base and send them packing if we can. just give them hell and burn it to the ground// Sunspot- that can be arranged// Logan- you sure you're up for it Da costa// Sunspot- hell yeah// Logan- Bobby you sure you can handle the fire starter// * Kitty looks at Pyro in the corner with a Collar and cuffs on*// Bobby- oh yeah, we'll be fine// Logan- did you get the clothes?// Warpath- couple of sweats but we're better staying in our unifroms// Logan- right, leave the bags we need all the energy we can get, let's move// Banshee- let's do this * they all walk out of the apartment and get into the truck as Bishop drives and Logan sit's right in front of Kitty as she keeps her head down trying to avoid any reason to look at him*  

* around an hour and half later they stop the truck and get out and walk through the woods at night as nothing is heard but footsteps, everyone can barley see as Banshee trips and falls and Alex helps him up*// Alex- you okay dude?// Banshee- yeah, thanks man * they make their way through some fields as they get to an airport that's covered in soldiers*// Storm- makes sense, what's it gonna be? attack or stealth?/ Logan- stealth, Pryde * she looks at him for the first time* you're up, get in there and tell us what we are dealing with * she sighs as she phases into the ground and starts running through the ground towards the airport as she assumes shes closer and pokes her head up and she is inside, she takes out cameras as she phases in and out of rooms of mainly sleeping soldiers as she get's to the security and takes out the 5 soldiers in there and pulls out radio*// Kitty- *radio* we have a lot of sleeping soldiers but this is deffo the place, most of the cameras I've taken out but I'm in with security and looks like we have a problem// Logan-*radio* what sorta problem?// Kitty- the war ships and bombs are all here, so where are Angel and Magneto// Stryker-*radio* where are they? where are Magneto and Angel I wonder * Kitty freezes*// Logan-*radio* get outta there Pryde * she rushes to the door and attempts to phase but her powers are not working*// Stryker- that's gonna be hard when this place is wired with anti mutant technology controlled by me// Kitty- *radio* I can't get out!// Logan-*radio* I'm coming to get you// Stryker- *radio* yes, come get her Wolverine. At least I had the sense to give minimal radio's always in rotation. the things is... when you plan a mass take over you make sure to upgrade your weapons and your team. hold tight Kitty baby, I'll see you soon  * Kitty is kicking at the door before searching the soldiers for a key but growling in frustration as she backs away hands on head as alarms ring and her heart drops knowing that Stryker has drew them in, she pulls apart the draws to look for key's as she throws a computes at a wall in anger and yells before taking out a knife and waiting infront of the door, she hears it unlock as men scream for her to stand down, they open it a tiny bit still screaming at her to stand down, she runs towards the door and kicks it before swinging her knife into the nearest soldier while kicking the other, she fights off a group of 20 soldiers blood spattering from where her knife clashes with their skin, once she takes them down she picks up 2 hand guns and a riffle*// Kitty- *radio* gonna have to do better than that * she shoots the soldiers one after another as the drop to the floor one by one and she makes her way out of the room and down the hallway waiting for her team as she rushes towards a glass window and see her team coming as she shoots the glass and it shatters and she walks backwards shooting as Logan and Bishop runs past her and attacks the soldiers*// Kitty- get back, they have a magnetic field to stop your mutations * soldiers run from all directions as Storm rises up into the air and causes storm clouds and lightening, Darts are shot at them as Storm is hit and drops down into the floor, Kitty pushes everything away as she rushes to storm but she sees Alex is shot and collapses on the floor*//Kitty- No * Kitty uses her powers to hit a wave of hundreds of soldiers running to them then she uses her powers and hit's over all the jet's as the bombs blow up the jet's and Logan and Bishop are shocked, Banshee and Sunspot are down as Warpath is running to him he is shot in the back and blood pours out but he keeps running as he is darted and passes out, Kitty is using her powers hitting wave after wave before she turns and sees Bishop down and lot's of darts stuck in Logan's body before he drops to his knees struggling to stay awake *// Styker-That's enough * Kitty is phasing as the bullets and darts stop and he walks in front of her hands on his hips*// Stryker- there you are * her eyes are fighting back tears as Logan is darted and put into cuffs as well as her other team being carried away, Kitty is in shock as she tears are threatening to spill*// Stryker- come on, be a good girl and let me dart you, because we both know I could put a bullet in your friends head if you keep disobeying me * she stops phasing as a gun is put to Warpath's head and a dart is shot at her arm and she gasps flinching, Stryker walks to her and she backs away  before he grabs her arm yanking her to him as he grabs her hair and places a needle gun into her neck as she yelps and gasps before pushing him off her and rubbing her neck before rubbing the spot and looking at her hand to see blood*// Stryker- it only stings for a couple hours, most of that you'll be out cold * he signals as she is short with a tranq dart and she pulls out out of her thigh and looks at Stryker scared as her eyes go blurry and he pulls her into a hug*// Stryker- shhh shhh shhh shhh * he strokes her hair* just relax *her body goes limp as she passes out, he flips her onto his shoulder*// Stryker- I want them all inside now * he has a smirk on his face*
