*at the x-mansion Kitty, Piotr, jean, Kurt and Scott are in a training room session on who can survive the longest, Kitty runs into a wall that traps Piotr and she laughs*// Kitty- well looks like you have been schooled Piotr *the wall is thrown as her and she phases through it shocked*// Piotr- looks like school is out// Scott- duck *shoots above Piotr head// Piotr- woah// Scott- sorry, jean let's go * they all fight lasers and  the ground opens as they all jump for a rope to hold onto*// Kurt- oh *teleports to safety* too bad I'm gonna win// Jean- get us down// Kurt- do it yourself *laughs and is the shot by an electric disk and falls to the floor, Kitty swings on the rope and lands on the other side of the floor and shuts the button off and the floor closes as Jean falls Kitty telekinetically catches her as frost shoots a blast that hits Kitty onto the floor and then Jean hits the floor*// Scott- Jean! *runs to her* are you crazy frost?// Frost- always stay on guard// kitty- from your own team mates? *get's up in her face*// Piotr- that is unfair don't you think, we are supposed to be working as a team// Kitty- what is your problem with me?// Frost- steady on, I have to acknowledge you first to have a problem// Kitty- go fuck yourself/ Jean- you don't always have to be a bitch// Frost- coming from the stuck up virgin// Scott-jean just leave it// Jean- no, you're a stupid little brat who thinks she is something special but you are a 35 year old woman in short shorts and a bra at a high school training facility you cow *Jean turns her back*// Frost - you're just jealous that my power is stronger// Kitty- Jean it's not worth it// Kurt-just leave it be all this fighting is not good for the pr// Frost- well I'll be leaving soon, me and Logan are going on a mission *kitty looks at her annoyed* oh I'm sorry didn't he mention it to you? we're gonna be spending some quality time together *bites her lip* just me and him.. Kitty// angel- why do you care what he thinks *he moves her hair behind her ear and smiles at her* stop trying so hard to prove yourself to everyone// Kitty- I just don't know I feel like I am just causing arguments and ripping apart the team *sirens go off* hold that thought come on let's go*they run to get changed and ready and then all brief on the planes*// Logan- alright listen up, we got a complicated one today, we have a terrorist threat... at a public event that we need to be prepared , we are unsure of the scale or what it is but we know that word is given that we need to be there // Hank- our job is too stand guard and help in anyway we can until the threat is known, you all have your coms and  I want to stay in touch as best you can, I want you in pairs and I want you to stay as close to one another as possible  *they all team up and as they walk out and there is a demonstration with a large stage and huge curtains and helicopters*// Logan- spread out and stay in touch at anything suspicious  *his eyes meet Kitty's and he walks off in a direction and she walks around with people all staring at her and whispering*// Hank- anything?//Kitty- nope, how about you?// Hank- no nothing yet// Kelly- if I could have your attention please// Hank- this should be good// Kelly- today we are here for a demonstration and to talk about mutants. we already came up with a rule making it a law for all mutants to register their mutations and abilities but still we see those taking advantage of those... abilities and using them for bad. our second line on this terrorist threat was the Mutant Response Division that has received a lot of backlash and misunderstanding but now it is time for our 3rd and most exceptional defence yet, only for the most dangerous of those who can not live in peace and harmony. its time we fight back with these *the curtains open and huge robots stand tall and everyone gasps, shouts and talks// Kitty- is the senator  really bring out terminator robots// Hank- it appears so *he looks shocked// Kelly- this is called a sentinel and it is part of our sentinel programme, please do not be alarmed they are all safe *they all start up and point lasers at mutants who all freak out and gasp*// kelly- do not be alarmed *the sentinels start demanding people to freeze and stand down and there is a commotion*// Kelly- that is enough shut the robots down... someone stop the robots.. please//*the robots malfunction and start attacking mutants and humans* \\Logan- *coms*- x- men let's go *they run to fight the robots and kitty sprints to phase through people and through the robot that is shooting her and puts out her hand and squeezes it as hard as she can until it crumbles and then drops it as its sparking and she turns to face MRD soldier shouting and screaming at her to freeze and she swipes her hand and hit's them on the floor and telekinetically takes their weapons and throws them Storm is in the air fighting and gets blasted down by 2 shots and kitty puts her hand to catch her and runs to her as she is lowered*// Kitty- Storm are you okay *storm nods panting and looks dizzy*// kurt- I can take her // Scott- *coms* we need to get everyone out and isolate the bots\\Logan-*coms* we need a big distraction, frost, jean, bobby I want you on the stage giving them everything you got, the rest of you I want those civilians out out of here asap* kitty runs and puts up her hand to shield people running from shots and then Piotr is looking up at the robot**// Kitty- need a hand?// Piotr- can you get me up there// Kitty- of course * she telekinetically lifts Piotr and lands him on the bot as he punches through the head*// Bobby- a lift Princess *he puts his arm out grabs her and reaches her up to a sentinel on  as she phases through his head and Bobby is hit off the bridge she lowers him down and Warren signals to her to jump and she does he catches her in his arms and fly's her downs a Robot shoots she shields her and Warren and then rips it apart*// Kitty- fly up and try to see how many are left *he fly's up as 6 helicopters all swarm the sky*// Kitty- rogue TAP *they low 5 as Rogue takes Kitty's powers and she stumbles*// Rogue- sorry// Kitty- It's okay, let's go *back to back they are taking out robot after robot and then a bunch of people are being chased*// Rogue- I got this... GO * she sprints up to use her powers and throw the robot aside the rip it into 2*// Kitty- THIS WAY LETS GO!! *kitty leads around 30 people away from the fight and to the edge to get away as a helicopter starts to target her so she uses her powers to bend the propeller and lowers it to the ground annoyed then as the MRD run out she moves her hand aside and they all go flying into one another then she lifts their weapons throws them and runs back as 2 robots target her she phases though them and still running not faces them uses her powers to drag them into one another until they smash apart and she runs to the stage that's all collapsing and smoking and catches it with her powers and lowers it down as Frost runs over to her looking pissed off* // Kitty- BOBBY!// Bobby- ON IT *he ices out all the flames and a grenade is thrown but it sets off sounds that make everyone fall to the floor and mimic the aftermath of an explosion and kitty is on the floor hands on her ears dizzy can't hear and confused, she turns to look at her side and see Frost is knocked out and her head is cut open, she struggles to get to her feet*// Kitty- *coms* we need help*she's kicked in the back and falls to the floor as Stryker grabs her arm and pulls her over to face him and traps her between his legs pissed off *// Stryker- you stupid little bitch *starts to strangle her and she's in a daze struggling at his hands to get him off her he's screaming at her but her ears are ringing eventually she phases and rolls away from him choking and gasping for air as he try's to kick her but phases through then she uses her powers to blast him aside and he hits the floor she's on her knees gasping as someone stands in front of her and offers a hand and she takes it and is pulled up but her ears still ringing he nods and looks at her concerned*// Stryker- protecting her Logan? you noble prick *kitty's ears are bleeding as she watches Frost being carried by Hank * Logan runs at Stryker and they are fighting Stryker has knives Kitty shakes her head and runs off towards more mutants and takes down another 2 robots*// Jean- KITTY!* Jean has a collar on and she runs to take out the guards and then helps her to take the collar off, another disruptor grenade is thrown and they're thrown to the floor and Kitty has sharp pain in her right pelvis and looks down to see little drops of blood and she knows it's shrapnel and Warren lands beside her and lifts her head to sit up*// Warren- easy,  take your time *a guard runs up and kitty just pushes him with her powers and then Warren helps her stand up* take it easy// Kitty- I'm okay// Pr-*coms* shield are on there way for clean up, I need all those things gone and I want Stryker into custody *Kitty looks aside to see than Logan is pinning Stryker repeatedly punching him*// Kitty- Logan*walks to him and he doesn't stop* Logan! *he is still punching stryker * LOGAN! *he turns and growls at Kitty who frowns disappointed he looks down and lowers his cowl and she walks to him as bullets fly passed he grabs her in a bear hug but she phases them through it and he smiles at her and and she smiles back still hugging *// Storm- *clears throat* now is not the time for affection *blasts mrd with lightening and he puts his hand on face checking the blood in her ears *// Logan- you're a good fighter// kitty- thanks, you are too *he looks taken aback and amused  as Storm is above them shooting lightening bolts and she is hit and lightening strikes everywhere and one of the strikes hit kitty and Logan and they are hit apart and kitty is knocked out , Logan lifts his head coming too aching and sees her knocked out*// Logan- Kit *gets up and runs to her and turns her over and her face is pale and lips purple he looks shocked  and starts doing chest compressions as people gather around and he is handed a mask to help her breathe as warren is doing the breathing for her , she's lifeless on the floor as everyone is standing around*// Jean- c'mon kit, wake up *scott pulls her into a hug*// storm- it was an accident I... I // Hank- we know, don't blame yourself \\* Logan looks terrified as he's doing cpr and chest compressions for over a minute getting hysterical until she lets out little pants and Logan's breathes heavy with relief as Logan carry's her to the jet*

*a few hours later Kitty wakes up confused in a hospital room aching, she  lifts her hand looks at the needle in it and puts it on her stomach confused and realizes she has an oxygen mask on and looks really confused as Logan walks to the bottom of her bed and she looks at him weird *// Logan- are you okay? *she looks around trying to remember an sits up but he pushes her back*don't, you need to stay here and keep that on// kitty- what happened?// Logan- one of storms bolts hit us, my bones are metal and we were touching when I checked your ears// Kitty- are you okay?// Logan- *shocked*me? Pryde your heart stopped *he looks down scared then back up* I thought you had died you were white... your lips turned blue... you didn't breathe// Kitty- I'm here ...I'm okay// Logan- YOU WERE DEAD! do you understand that? *kitty looks down embarrassed and depressed, Logan takes a deep breath* I got scared// kitty- I'm sorry// Logan- you are either really lucky or fucking cursed *he try's to smile*// Kitty- that's embarrassing, did people see? *she smiles*// Logan- a lot *he looks amused and she pulls a face mortified he chuckles and Kitty looks tired*// Logan- I'll come see you later// kitty- can you stay with me... *he nods* what happened after?// Logan- we came straight here and Fury had a clean up team, we spoke to Fury he's with Charles now, there were a lot of injuries and 5 deaths *she looks sad* we saved a lot of people too// Kitty- people are still dead// Logan- and more would be too if it weren't for us... I know it's not enough it's the hardest part of the job I know// kitty- is this what it's like to be hated for having powers?// Logan- it's not all that bad the MRD have just got it into their heads that mutants are bad and they need to be taken out *she looks aside and Logan sits beside her and sighs*pryde?// Kitty- yeah?// Logan- don't get compromised *she looks at him shocked*// kitty- I say that too *he looks at her taken aback then smiles a little*// *the door knocks and the Pr and Fury walk in and Kitty is checked over and explains about the agents that tried to buy her and Nick looks confused but then he leaves and Kitty is dressing and then her needles are taken out and left in the room with Logan*\\ Logan- how are you now?// Kitty- really tired and drained. What happened to stryker ?// Logan- he left soon as he saw shield come in, he probably thinks your dead// Kitty- I don't really remember anything it was just like I was asleep but not dreaming// Logan- you scared the hell outta me, I thought you were gone for sure// Kitty- I'm only going out by my own hand, so you don't have to worry about that\\ Logan- uh okay *looks concerned by amused* come on I'll take you back to your room *grabs her pills and puts arm around her waist and walks slowly back with her*// Kitty- look at you being so caring// Logan- are you surprised?// Kitty- yeah obviously, I didn't know you cared\\ Logan- well I do Pryde *she lowers her gaze staying silent, he walks her to her door* I'll be going away tonight , a few days is all*she looks down* Just me and scott *she try's to suppress a smile*// Kitty- try not to get into trouble *he smirks at her* look after yourself  and stay safe// Logan- you too *their eyes meet and Kitty smiles at him lovingly and hugs him tight and he hugs her back until he pulls away and smiles down at her*// Logan- see you soon * he walks away but still watches her and she looks at him as he turns the corner out of sight*

*kitty is in her room on her phone to Fliss and the door knocks and she opens it*// Jean- the Pr want to talk to us in the meeting room// Kitty- okay I'll be there now *takes a pill with her drink gagging and  they walk out along the corridor*//  Jean- are you okay?// Kitty-  my head hurts and I feel very drained and tired, but I'm okay, you okay?// Jean- shrapnel in my body, 7 prices pulled out and I ache  but I'm alive // kitty- barley.. what are we meeting for?// Jean- the sentinels// Kitty- surely this is not legal? of all the things we need robots for people turn them into weapons... Elon musk must be proud// Jean- do you really think that the government are approving this? I think they are scared and are trying to shut the MRD down but with all these weapons it would be like starting a war, they're more advanced than the government and they don't care for no one not even their own people// Kitty- so what you're telling me is that we are going to war against a deluded advanced robotics mutant hating army?// Jean- yeah... and who knows how many lives are gonna be lost.. or what their next move is *they sit in a meeting and everyone is depressed and paranoid as it gets late and they leave the meeting and Kitty walks to her bedroom and opens a box of weed and rolls a joint and walks out of the room and a teenager smirks at her as he shows his joint and she laughs and walks away to the cliffs and sits cross legged on the bench in the evening smoking a joint feeling overwhelmed and and pulls up her sleeves to see her burn marks on her arm as she feels like their is a weight in her chest as she runs her hands over them thinking what to do next and she lights a lighter staring at the flame and taking a couple more drags and then the flame goes out and she puts the hot lighter on her arm and breathes for a couple of seconds and does it 5 more times, pulls her sleeves down and then smokes her joint throws the end and sits there emotionless yet overwhelmed and just stares into space confused*
