Agent at heart

* Kitty is called to the Pr's office*\\ Kitty- you asked to see me// Pr- Kitty, yea, I know you're busy...// Kitty- yes * looks at him confused but intrigued*\\ Pr I've been asked by director fury if you would accompany him to a trial if possible?// Kitty- a trial?// Pr- for the rogue agents who are supposedly hydra// Kitty- and why would I want to go?// Pr- to be an escort to the director in his security team// Kitty- and I don't have to be a witness or testify?// Pr- oh no this is strictly security for Nick furry// Kitty- okay yeah I'm in// Pr- I'll let him know to arrange transport if you'd like to go get ready * Kitty walks upstairs sighing  and she enters her room and she washes her face and does her hair into the standard updo and grabs her bag as she walks out of her room to the Pr's office*\\ Pr- I like what you've done with your hair Kitty//Kitty- thank you, it's protocol// Pr- oh yes I forget. How are you feeling * she looks at him and pulls a face* sorry I just don't like it when I'm not involved in the mission and I just hope that you'll be okay, I worry when you all leave here// Kitty- it will be fine, just a security job to a trial I've done it enough times// Pr-a car will be here shortly to come get you. There are so many things I'd like to ask you but I'm aware of your position as an agent * they talk before a black jeep pulls up up and Kitty walks out and downs the steps Piotr smiles and waves at her as she waves back and gets in the Jeep in silence. she's taken to the changing room and she changes into her shield uniform and is escorted to a meeting room being briefed by Coulson and Fury as everyone gets their weapons and coms and Kitty is given a mutant bracelet and she looks at the agent annoyed but puts it on*\\ Fury- agent Pryde * she salutes* at ease* I'm glad you agreed// Kitty- yeah well you asked and now I'm here// Fury- I'm glad, lead away// rumlow- here I thought I was gonna lead this one, cars outside Pryde * she nods*// Kitty- sync up all coms and all eyes on the eagle, let's move out * Kitty walks beside Nick to 3 jeeps and they get in the first jeep and ride away Kitty opposite Nick*// Nick- how ya been? * she looks at him with a straight face* I'm trying// kitty- don't, just focus on your trial sir * she looks aside*speaking of * she looks at him* why wasn't I told about this trial?// Nick- I didn't think you'd need to know// Kitty- a trial about hydra I think that that's on a need to know basis don't you?// Nick- you were being a little bit moody for my liking// Kitty-  this is gonna be a long day so let's just try and get through this awkwardness by staying silent okay * she looks down and takes a deep breath and she stays silent for the rest of the journey as Phill and fury talk as they arrive at their destination and everyone gets out and Kitty walks beside Nick as Rumlow walks the other side of Nick as they walk into the courthouse entente  surrounded by press and security *\\ Kitty- *coms* alright I need teams 2 and 3 to starts the sweep now, teams 4 secure perimeter, team 1 let's go * they walk into the the entrance and are met by lawyers and escorted to a court room*// Lawyer- if your security would stand beside you please * Kitty beckons the agents around and she stands beside the table fury is sat on and stands with her hands behind her back*\\ * after some time judges are brought in and important looking people walk in, more security teams are brought in as Kitty looks at Nick who lifts his brow at her and she nods in reassurance*// * the trial begins Kitty is eyeing up all the people and the hydra agents all looking smug as she looks at Nicks face and then Rumlows face staring at them* 

* a few hours into the trial the judges call for a break as Kitty walks to Nick escorts him to a cafeteria as Nick and Phill get something to eat  and sit at a table as kitty stands on guard looking around*\\ Kitty- sweep the area * the agents leave*\\ Kitty- *come* report?// agent—*coms* all clear// Agent 2-*coms* all clear, we'll repeat just to be safe// Kitty- *coms* copy that * she looks at Phill about to drink his coffee and she takes it from him gets a spoon takes a little of the coffee on the spoon and dips her finger into it as her nails stay the same color and Phill looks confused as she does the same to the directors*\\ Nick- she's testing for poisons or drugs, she has a polish on her nails that will change colour if it detects one of them * he sips his coffee smiling at her as she stands back up hands behind her back and facing away from the table*\\ Nick- join us?// Kitty- no thank you sir// Nick- that's an order * she inhales and exhales annoyed as she sits across from Nick who is eating a sandwich*\\ Nick- did you want anything?// Kitty- no, thank you!// Phill- she's on duty let her concentrate// Nick- how is the x-men// Kitty- it's amazing// Nick- and how is wolverine these days?// Kitty- he's fine * her eyes narrow*//  Nick- I hope he's looking after you// Kitty- we both know I don't need looking after * she sits back annoyed and tilts her head* just remember I'm the one who seems to be looking after you// Nick- I should hope so Pryde, you know I miss having you working for me, after all that's gone on I wish that you were here// Kitty- I am here whenever you need me, but I'm staying where I am * he nods  sipping his coffee* how's that project coming along?// Nick- slower than expected// Phill- but it's in motion // Kitty- and the project is?// Phill- classified * he smiles eating his food as Kitty sighs rolling her eyes*// Kitty- and this is why I'll never come back to shield * she sighs and scans the room* when do you get to speak and present your finding// Nick-should be after lunch, assuming there are no more interruptions. Now we got that one judge in there and we got those jury of government we need to raise the threat to hydra, it will be good if you could talk and explain your ordeal * she narrows her eyes annoyed* or not.... Let's just keep alert and then we can all get home before bedtime// kitty- you know I find it crazy how hydra agents always kill themselves when captured... why are there 39 agents on trial// Nick- because some people are more scared of death than they are of consequences and you know what? I think that's what makes you human// Kitty- or cunning// Nick- cunning? No no no they've all had their little suicide tooth removed it's too late even if they wanted. This new age of hydra is going to face the law and we're here to show the government why they need to support shield with dealing with these terrorists. I know it's hard that back then your father was killed by hydra and how they tried to buy you as an experiment but at the end of the day they are radicalized terrorists and I'd gladly like to put them all away, especially that crossbones and the winter soldier * a shiver goes down her spine and she gets goosebumps as she thinks to stitching up his wounds in her room and she zones out thinking of the winter soldier and his body and his features and then begins to think of Logan and his features and the way he looks at her *\\ Nick- kitty! Care to share what you are  thinking// Kitty- that hydra shouldn't be underestimated, nobody should// Nick- I'm assuming you mean the winter soldier * she snaps her eyes to meet his gaze* Stark told me how he almost compromised you// Kitty- stark knows nothing// Nick- he said enough to know you played into his hands// Kitty- you forget I was the assassin because you gave me over to the league so forgive me if I bonded with the a victim of hydra// Nick- wake up agent, you need your head on to be your best * she glares thinking of all the things she could say but she doesn't say a word as the conversation goes silent as she watches Nick put his rubbish in the bin as he sits talking to Phill as she steps away from the table*\\ Kitty- *coms* team 1 what's your position.... Team 1? Team 2 position?// Man- *coms* first floor, should we go locate team 1?// Kitty- * coms* just 2 agents, the rest of you do a sweep and  get beck to me with team 1's position* * Kitty turns  to her team as they look at her and she beckons them to her as they all gather close, Nick looks at everyone confused*\\ Kitty- just protocol, we can't determine team 1's position  so sir if you'd just follow me to the court room * they all circle Nick as they rush to the court room and enter*\\ rumlow- I'll do a sweep and locate the agents positions * he smiles Kitty nods as he walks away*\\ Kitty- agent thomas to with him * Rumlow stops and turns and smiles as both agents walk away*// Nick- I got a bad feeling about this// Kitty- me too, let's get this over and done with, I want 2 agents at the door 2 infront and one either side now * Kitty stands beside Nick hands on her belt as the agents stand in line and court begins, Nick takes the stand as Kitty follows and stands beside him head held high and scanning the room as he begins to talk, an hour goes by and no word so kitty whispers into her coms*\\ Kitty- report?.... Agents disclose your locations....* the judge looks at Kitty with concern as Kitty's heart is pounding and her anxiety sneaks up on her  as Nick is talking to the court and Kitty signals 2 officers to the door as they casually walk up to the door as outside the door there are gun shots heard as Kittys heart is pounding and the court room erupts in panic and screams*\\ Kitty- GET DOWN * she shoves Nick out of the stand and onto the floor shielding him as bullets fly through the walls of the court room as Kitty takes her gun, beckons agents to cover Nick and she sneaks under the bullets and beckons for everyone to get to one side of the room, she stands beside the door low downs as it opens and a man walks in all in black and the hydra symbol and starts to shoot wne Kitty jumped up takes his gun and slams her gun into his shoulder shattering his collar bone and takes his weapons and slams it into his head before turning the weapon on other hydra agents as they scraper away and start shooting from behind walls. as she shoots back, she hits one man in the hand as he drops his gun and she advances to his position and shoots him in the leg before hitting him in the nose to knock him out and then turning the gun on the other men shooting at her as they fall back*\\ * she advances and runs after them but then returns*\\ Kitty- get those men cuffed, I want as many hydra arrested. *coms* back up is required, team 1 and 2. Do you read me? Rumlow, Thomas do you read me???... alright then I need you all to exit the room and stay close and down, stick to these rules. I know it's going to be scary out there but we're doing the best to our ability given our team aren't responding. Okay,? Let's go * she grabs Nicks arm and leads him out the way as people run to follow her her, the group turns a few corridors as alarms are blaring and so much commotion, Kitty signals everyone to stop and be quiet as she takes her gun and checks around the corridors and signals everyone to follow as they take the stairs and head out through  the cafeteria as gunmen are taken out with just one injury to the group, they make their way through the cafeteria as the winter soldier is stood blocking the exit as Kitty gasps*\\ Nick- mother fucker, you are kidding me * men are stood behind him pointing a gun as the people behind Kitty raise their hands as Kitty doesn't  hesitate and shoots shots at them all using the gun she took from one of their agents and they bounce off the winter soldiers arm as the people all spread out*\\ Kitty- GO GO GO * the hostages run out as the winter soldier runs at Kitty and she runs at him, she ducks under his arm as he elbows her she twists his arm back as he runs back while she still had hold on his arm he slams her into the wall with his own body and she puts him in a headlock as he flips her over his shoulders and she rolls but lands in her knee and she swipes his feet from under him and takes his gun and puts it in her belt*\\ Kitty- GO!! * she takes a taser from her belt and tasses him a few times before running to the group of men advancing on Nick and she runs, one of the men turns to  her grabbing her as she's fighting her all against the grasp of the men and she headbutts the one in-front of her and kicks as hard as she can the other man in the groin she puts her thumbs into the other man's eyes as hard as she can until he lets her go and  she kicks him from behind and walks to Nick who more looking impressed*\\ Kitty- let's go! * her and a few agents surround Nick and make their way to the exit as a group advance*\\ Kitty- shield the eagle * she sighs and rushes off to face each man head on attacking them one by one and she looks back to Nick and sees the winter soldier with a gun to his head and the agents on the floor she freezes*// Kitty- woah woah woah * she raises her hands* hang on a minute * he refuses to look at her* soldier c'mon, what the hell happened? * she makes her way to him and looks until he meets her gaze*\\ Kitty- what happened?.... Please * hydra agents load a gun at Kitty's head and she takes them out no problem and shifts her focus back to the winter soldier, Nick is glaring the soldier down*\\Kitty- soldier come on * the winter soldier kicks Kitty in the ribs and she falls backward in the floor as he grabs nick and pushes him away and Kitty clutches her ribs in pain and she leans up and try's to taser the mutant bracelet but nothing happens*// Kitty- theoretically i thoughts that would work* she gets up and jogs after them. On coms* the winter soldier has fury I need back up, can one of my teams please come through I'm making my way out the back now!... * she sprints faster and catches up and shoots at them as they duck, she runs up as the agents shoot she slides across the floor throws mini smoke bombs as rumlow approaches*\\ Kitty- get a the director!! * she is taking out hydra agents until she turns the corridor to see rumlow stop face to face with the winter soldier and Nick is in cuffs in the middle of the corridor*\\  Kitty- end of the line, what are the agents positions?// rumlow- I'm not sure I think coms are down I've not seen another agent// Kitty- agent thomas?// Rumlow- I lost sight of him * she looks at Rumlow confused but back to Nick as she has her gun in her hand she takes a step forward but her eyes look aside as she smells a familiar aftershave and she turns to see rumlow looking too chill*\\ Kitty- Brock? Where are the teams *he smiles back at her so casual and Kitty gets an uneasy feeling as she backs away and she points the gun at the winter soldier who points his gun at her as she shields Nick and then she points the gun to Rumlow*\\ Rumlow- what's wrong?.... Pryde it's me// Nick- what are you doing// Kitty- that's crossbones, that's agent cross// rumlow - are you crazy// kitty- okay * grabs Nicks arm and steps close to him as sighs and blocks  her way past and he chuckles*// Cross- damn it Pryde how the fuck did you figure that one out * he smirks amused and pulls a gun*\\ Nick- you slimy two faced mother fucker, how in the hell did your manipulative ass get this far into my base I'll never know// Cross- sorry to disappoint sir, put the gun down Pryde * she looks angry and annoyed as the soldier takes it from her she's seeing red as Cross walks up to her close so she can smell his breath and smirks looking her up and down*// cross- just wait until I break you in * grabs her face and pushes her back* move! * a gun is pressed to her back and she's shoved forward as Nick walks infront of her * she examines the exit as they get closer as she knows the soldier won't shoot directly at her, she passes a fire extinguisher and she kicks crosss gun away, kicks with the other foot in the face takes the fire extinguisher and hits it over the winter soldiers head throws smoke bombs grabs nick and throws the whole thing at cross  as she does a runner as fast as she can to the doors and she stands as Nick stops*\\  Kitty- Go!! Get everyone away and I'll cover you * the men run out shooting as Kitty jumped from the corner takes the gun from the winter soldier he loads another she kicks it from his hand and away as she loads another gun and holds it to them both and they stop*// Kitty- next bullet is in your head, try me!// cross- you're out of your depth kid// Kitty- and your cover is blown so that's a win for now, come quietly * he laughs and lifts a brow*// cross- you were hot, what a shame * she shoots cross in the shoulder*// Kitty-  hands where I can see them *the doors are blown open as agents of shield  come in screaming and both men run off with bullets firing at them as she watches them run off and then she throws the gun to the swat team and walk out past crowds of people to Nick as they're ushered into vehicles and drive off as Kittt looks at Nick visibly shaken as they're driven to a safe house and into a meeting room as  Kitty is intimidated by Nicks heated rant and demands as she swings in her spiny chair while everyone  is petrified, everyone's dismissed as Kitty waits swinging in her chair as Nick looks at her*\\ Nick- payment is in your bank already, thank you for your service today, it is Greatly appreciated and as for sniffing out a rat... literally I'm in disbelief how this could happen and what was he was sending back to hydra. I think this shows how much of a threat hydra is and I think their little stunt backfired on them and showed the worlds themselves who they are. They cornered me in a political government meeting so easy and take down my best agents. lot of people spoke highly of you today, I'm very proud of you! I'm gonna need you in the future while I launch my next plan before that gets compromised. I'm starting a ship, so advanced high in the sky where people can't get in or out and not be found on earth. And I'm in the process of a shield prison being built on the deepest part of the seas housing the worst of the worst.... What do you think//  Kitty- shocked  with the height difference but I think that's a very smart thing to do. But I think your focus should be finding out who recruited cross  and who runs and works with hydra * he nods* I'll help in any way I can// Nick- can you take on the extra work load when I need you? * she pauses and thinks about batgirl and shadowcat and training Tim and she inhales then exhausted as she nods and stands up*\\ Nick- book your driving test asap Pryde! * she stands up to salute and walks away *
