* kitty get's back from her solo patrol to see Logan sleeping, he opens his eyes as she gets undressed and joins him in bed as he cuddles her*// Logan-how was it// Kitty- solo patrol, better that way, no problems the usual small time criminals. I did stop an intrusion, these 2 men broke into this womans aparment and I dread to think what they were planning because it was not a robberey. she's okay she's in police rpotection now and that's all that matters. she had a really cute cat so that was a bonus// Logan- typical of you to make friends with the animals// Kitty- why do you think I'm friends with you? * she smirks as he looks offended and smirks*// logan- you got me there, you can have a couple hours before we got training// Kitty- yeah I know, so long as I have 4 hours I'm goood to go// Logan- yeah you and me both * he kisses her shoulder* are you injured// Kitty- no, I'm okay// Logan- spoke to your dad// Kitty- nope, I stopped outside the hospital and he was asleep so I just watched him through the window// Logan- as batgirl// Kitty- yeah, I was busy I didn't have time to change// Logan- stalker that is// Kitty- you blame me? * she yawns* I gotta brush my teeth but I'm too tired// Logan- so I gotta deal with your morning breath huh, didn't sign up for that// Kitty- shut up * they laugh before settling for bed and falling asleep*

*in the morning Logan wakes up and checks his phone as Kitty turns over groaning*// Logan- you want breakfast * she groans* is that a yes or a no?// Kitty- *annoyed* yes// Logan- you aren't a morning person are you * she groans* alright I'm gonna get dressed go pick us up some breakfast, go back to sleep I'll be about an hour okay* she groans as he kisses her head, get's dressed and walks out the room as she falls back to sleep*//

* she wakes up checks the time and then she has a shower, dries her hair, get's changed and then begins to straighten her hair listening to music and singing to herself as she finishes her hair before shaking out her side bangs and smilign at her reflection then feeling a pang of guilt for feeling happy and she looks aside before taking out her phone and looking as screensaver of her, Bruce, alfred, Dick and Jason as her eyes water and she looks at her reflection as tears run down her cheeks as Logan walks in and sees her crying as she wipes her tears away*// Logan- what is it * he puts the bag down on the counter and walks to her looking concerned*// Kitty- I'm just being stupid// Logan- okay, but talk to me okay? * he puts a hand on her shoulder* tell me what it is// Kitty- I feel guilty with everything going on, and soon as I'm happy I always ruin it. I can't be happy because that means something is going to happen. when I'm happy bad things happen// Logan- but you're happy so allow yourself to be happy// Kitty- I can't do that or bad things will happen// Logan- you might think that and it might seem that way but it is not true. you deserve to have happiness wihtout guilt. I know it is hard but bad things are gonna happen either way. soon as things go bad we will deal with it okay// * she looks aside before meeting his gaze and nodding*// Kitty- okay// Logan- yeah?// kitty- yeah, now what did you get me for breakfast?// logan- all your favourites * the walk to the counter as he hands Kitty her stuff and they sit at the sofa eating while they watch some trash TV and both clean up*// Kitty- is it bad I want to go back to bed// Logan- understandable Pryde, but I think we're doing danger room scenarios today// Kitty- the only scenarios I like are in my head// Logan- noted * he looks shocked as she laughs* I love the fanger room scenarios because Hank will always go to hard on Scott and he moans like a little bitch// Kitty- cruel// Logan- you know it's funny, I like your hair// kitty- thank you * they both walk out as Kitty's leave for the danger room and Logan walks to his room. Storm, Wolverine and Iceman you're first * they walk into the danger room as the doors close and everyone goes to the gym to wait*// Jean- so how was your night?// Kitty- oh pretty uneventful, you?// Jean- the guys ended up playing drunk charades and Alex and Erik nearly got inot a fight// kitty- wish I stayed now// Jean- oh no the agent had to stick to her sleep schedule// Kitty- what can I say, I like to be ready// Jean- you have a glow about you this morning// Kitty- probably the crying I did this morning// Jean- what? I think you are both good for one another and it's stupid it wasn't sooner// Kitty- how did things go for you and scott when you first moved here// Jean- we we're one of the first students so it was a bit easy going than things are now, also things wern't this dangerous and also scott isn't Logan with all that truma adn lives lived... for us it was easy, just kids falling in love both trying to find somewhere we belong. it was natural and instant you know. like we fell in love slowly but quickly. one day we're kids the next we're talking about marriage and kids and actually settling down// Kitty- I can see you as a mom, couple of baby summers running aroud// Jean- you mean grey-summers// kitty- yep, the way you make love out to be is so good and pure, me and Logan wehave dark pasts and he's like 200 years old and lived and loved many times, me with my trauma nd all my mental issues it's a recipe for disaster isn't it* she looks down as Jean puts a hand on her shoulder*// Jean- I think someone with simular chaos and trauma can be good for one another, i don't know too much about your past but I know that you are doing great and you deserve a lot of good things to make up for the shitty life you've had. do you know about Logan's past// Kit- some of it, yeah?// Jean- and does he know about yours?// Kit- yeah most// jean- a lot more than anyone knows about you guys .... don't waste anymore time on worrying, take a chance*// Rogue- what am I missing out on// Kitty- my mess of a dating history// Rogue can't be any worse than mine// Gambit- hey!// Rogue see * she sits by them* if this is about Logan then just go for it, we're all routing for you guys... well either Logan or Piotr, Storm did say Erik * storm walks over*// Storm- hey I just said there was tension// Kitty- yeah hatred// Rogue- it's weird we come to this place to bascally scope out a partner// storm- well... yes but not always it just makes sense heroes dating heroes, does it not?// Kitty- what if you're too dmaaged and you aren't the hero anymore// storm- stop it, you are not damaged you are proud// Rogue- and a lose canon// kitty- not a compliment Rogue// Rogue- I think it is, sometimes doing what you think is right counts as being a good thing you know...// Kitty- like not comrpomising your morals and who you are?// Rogue- exactly// Kitty- I'm really lucky that I have you girls aren't I? * they all smile*// Storm- we're all here together for a reason// Kitty- I've never had a big group of friends before, it was always me and Fliss through everything // Rogue- you had a friend?// storm- we had the other orphan children living on the streets in Cairo// Jean- I had lot's of friends... before my mutation that is// Rogue- think when you're a loner it hurts less because you have no one to lose// Kitty- what about your parents?// Rogue- I ran away they we're ashamed of me, I was adopted by them, they were okay but they were strict with religion, what about you?// Kitty- my mother died when I was born and my and father died when I was 7, Bruce has raised me pretty much since a baby// Rogue- were you close to your father// kitty- no, from what I remember he put me in training soon as I could walk, he was away a lot so Bruce raised me, shield kept him busy// Jean- so where does Bruce fit into the picture// kitty-my dad relocated with me from the UK to the US when I was a couple months old and he saved Bruce and then they become really close and he became my god father and he just always raised me while my dad was off saving people// Storm- and how did you feel about that// Kitty- took awhile to process but having followed the same path as him I forgive him but I'll never understand why he chose work over a baby who just lost her mother// Jean- that's dark// Kitty- he was a good man, morally selfless it's just even the good people can hurt you and do wrong// Jean- everyone does good or bad// Kitty- do you speak to your parents Jean// Jean- not really no, hollidays and ocassians but they are still shamed of me I think I dunno I havrn't spoken to them// Rogue- you should// Storm- don't waste time when a good conversation can sum eveything up you need to know// Scott- Shadowcat, Bazerk, Rogue, youre up next * they walk up and walk to the danger room as Logan touches her hand as they walk past as he looks at her she smiles and keeps walking to the danger room to do a simulation, as Hank and Scott are talking to them on tactic and tehcnique the alarms go off as they all run to the meeting room and take a seat*// Pr- I need you all ready to fly to genosha * he is in a fluster as everyone looks to one another confused* there are soldiers launching an attack on the mutants. scarlet witch has contacted us and launched an evacuation to mutants but evacuations are limited due to the fact that this is most likely an act of war on genosha// Rogue- so like what are you saying Pr that these soldier have attacked genosha and what? this is now war?// pr- Nick fury are sending fleets of ships to evacuate the mutants and setting up safe spaces but more ships and jets are set to be on route and we need to gear up for a fight. this isn't what we're used to but this is a life or death situation. I fear there will be some deaths on both sides// Alex- this is bullshit so what are we killing these people now// Pr- I think that is a choice you must all face by yourselves I can not ask you to do something like that// Erik- they are killing our people in thier own land, this is a cause for death// Warren- killing is choice// pr- preferably no killing but yes do what you must// Erik- it's kill or be killed// Pr- I'll have forge packing essentials right now please get dressed and pack what you need asap please// Scott- get dressed then meet jn the armoury we leave in 5 minutes! * they all rush out as Logan walks by Kitty*// Logan- didn't think today would end in genocide // kitty- would now be a bad time to say this is probably my fault// Logan- wise up Pryde// Kitty- do we kill?// Logan- I don't know// Kitty- I don't want to kill anyone else// Logan- you won't have too * they get changed and all run to the armoury packing weapons and putting on vests as kitty looks at the vests they are given*// Erik- one eye on the future, one eye on the past * kitty takes a knife and puts it on her belt and a flip blade on her ankle before checking guns and putting one in her side and then taking a laser gun and putting it in the other side of the belt, she puts more weapons on her belt and on her thigh holders. her head is running wild as she holds stares into space**// Erik- now is not the fucking time to wresstle with your conscious * she looks at them as they just stare at one another for a minute, then Kitty breaks eye contact and walks to the hanger and gets on the jet and takes a seat doing her belt up and looking at everyones face examining their demeners*// Piotr- you ever think these x's on our suits are there for easier targets * she looks at him* we do not need wepons// Kitty- when you have no mutation you leave yourself open and you can bet that we are gonna be up against these soldier who are well prepared enough to invade an island of mutants// Kurt- god helps us/// Scott- we got this as a team, we all have one anothers back// Rogue- WE ARE GOING INTO THIS BLIND!// Logan- everyone just calm down, we need to acess what we are dealing with and then make a decion on how to act// Hank- good thing we have a man who's fought in every single war then/// Bobby- alright then that is surley a plus isn't it// Scott- we will meet some shield agents there and we can acess the situation// Kitty- why do I feel like this isn't gonna be a day mission// Jean- probably not no// Forge- I got all the supplies we need// Logan- we need to get to the check point meet with genoshas line of defense first then start evacuation// Kitty- I think that's the best// Scott- oh you do? we need to keep the element of surpise// Kitty + Logan- NO!// Kitty- whoever is behind this they know back up is coming and this is gonna be a hell of a fight so we have no element of surprise, it's mutants they want so mutants have to be evacuated before we go running in guns blazing. we don't know what we're up against or who they are so the main focus should be protecting the people and thinking out our tactics// Erik- exacty, Genosha is a huge place and there is obviosly going to be more than one fight// Logan- exactly, I need you all to be ready for anything and kill on sight if you are willing to. magneto is right it is kill or be kiled, so let's make sure our team strike first// Kitty- holy fuck // kurt- hey don't use the word holy in the same sentnce as that// Kitty- sorry God * taps her chest and signals to the sky as Warren and Piotr chuckle* * after some time they get closer to see genosha covered in smoke and fires*// Scott- oh my god// * jean has tears down her face as Forge fly's them close to land before the ship detects missles as they all look at one another and Erik uses his powers to hit them into one another as an explotion is seen outside of the plane and 2 more are located as Erik takes them out and then 2 more as he does it again*// Erik- let me deal with this and I'll meet you are the meet up point// Kitty- no, you are not going alone// Scott- orders Erik we go as a team// Erik- good thing I am not on your team * he opens the hatch and fly's out as they all look at one another confused and then manage to pull into the meet up point as forge communucates with shield on the ground. Eventually they land and all rush out to walk to meet shield agents all dressed ready to have a fight. Logan and Kitty talk to the commander*// Bishop- good to see you wolverine! they shake hands as Logan has a huge smile on his face*// Logan- good to see you still alive, Bishop this is Kitty // Kitty- nice to meet you * they shake hands*// Bishop- any friend of Wolverines is a friend of mine, nice to finally meet you shadowcat// Wolverine- there are supplies on the ship, forge you stay here and help unload the stuff// Bishop- let me take you to scarlet witch in the palace, c'mon guys let's get you up to speed * they all follow*// Bishop- early this morning genosha had a couple of unidentified planes land, didn't think anything of it until gaurds on the outpost noticed they were all geared up, weapons upon weapons and the unifroms are all MRD but they also have the sign FOH// Rogue- what the hell is FOH// Wolverine- friends of humanity, done a couple of undercover ops on them, they have been funding the MRD for years, all off books// Bishop- we're not just talking a couple hundred here we're talking thousand already on the islands and more coming by the load setting up and getting ready for more attacks. the first wave of these soldier hit this morning around 8, we can't keep track how many more people have landed on this island * they get to a meeting room with all mutants and soldier getting ready for battle, shield soldiers are giving out weapons as Wanda is yelling at people*// Wanda- I told you my people from the east need to be evacuated that is where these killer have made camp and started their attacks// Bishop - we are working on teams to go deeper into the east to get the people out, we have ground teams doing sweeps we have to let them play out their hand and not provoke further voilence// Wanda- PEOPLE ARE DYING I WANT MY PEOPLE OUT NOW!!// Wolverine- I'lll get my team up to speed and we will send a few people into the east city and evacuate// Bishop- we're doing all we can// Wanda- IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH// Wolverine- I'll send some of my team on a sweep and I'll get a tactical team ready to desent into the city and pull the mutansts out, get me the head of all the teams in an office I want walkies and coms given out to everyone. how many troops do we have// Bishop- we have the x-men, the brother hood, we have my team of x force, we have more or less 300 shield agents on standby ready for a fight and we only have 3 jets that can take maybe 25-30 people at a time// Wanda- the people are getting impaitient// Kitty- can I make a suggestion?// Bishop- why not, go ahead// Kitty- base camp is set up in the palace but the palace can hold how many?// Wanda- a couple hundred maybe a thousand if we pack in// Kitty- how many people on the island// Wanda- uh I dunno maybe 4000 that includes kids and babies// Kitty- any animals// Wanda-no we do not allow animals here, for reasons like this// Kitty- I suggest you do a manditory evacuation to the palace and we move troops far back enough to build a perimeter maybe a couple miles from the palace and then we can evacuate people from the palace and have the perimeter to protects the airspace// Bishop- that is not a bad plan actually I see the advantages// Jean- people first// Bishop- wanda get all the soldiers in for a meeting, we need to work fast and quick * a majority of the soldier are called into a room as Wanda announces the plan and the captains order their teams to their positions as trucks are loaded and the soldier pack up base ready to leave, soldiers and mutants alike are ordered to stand gaurd*

* the x-men pack up there things as they get into a truck all looking at one another*// Bishop- how the hell are we gonna get the evacuation message out to mutants// Wolverine- charles is gonna do it soon// Bishop- *walkie talkie* a couple miles out and we will build our perimeter and no matter what we let no one past, let's give everyone a fghting chance * after an hour of driving they stop at a town as all the mutants band together to block the roads with anything they can and people start to make camp in the abandoned houses as they do all the mutants and shield hear a telekentic message*

Charles - * telikenetically* hello my fellow mutants and soldiers, this is Charles Xavier speaking directly to you. after so many battles I did not think that this would end in an all out war with the friends of humanity and the mutants response devision but here we are. if you are hearing my message then please get to the palace in genosha with all your loved ones ready for evacuations to shield safe houses. to all those still trapped or in hiding, help is coming for you so do not lose hope. there is always hope in a time of need. please do not fear as hope will help us in these times of trials. keep one another safe, we must all stick together and play our part. I do not know what the future holds but no mutant will be left behind. we stand with gensohsa... we stand with mutants!

* the x-men all look around nodding to reasure one another as they all gather*// wolverine- I'll take my team in the trucks to lead mutants this way for safe passage// Bishop- I'm coming with you// Logan- cyclops do you have this team under control * he is helping mutants showing them where to hide and wait for night*// Scott- I got it wolverine// wolverine- Angel, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Bazerk you're with me// angel- always * they all push past the barriers in the trucks, Kitty checks her watch 5pm, none of them say a word to one another as they drive into the unknown of the crowded streets with scared mutants fleeing thier homes *
