Tomorrows the wedding and shift today so let's just say it's gonna be a very busy day,

" it's getting exciting, is Casey's coming out today" Stella asks in the locker room as she braids your hair, " yes that's the plan, and if he's not I'm going to go crazy" you say completely serious going through your emails making sure Everything's set. " who did ye invite anyway" Stella smiles " gallos aunt, obviously every here, some people from med and pd and just some friends, it won't be too big just not that small" you say as she finish

" ok perfect, you look great. Think Herman's making breakfast" she says walking out with you fallowing.

You walk in with everyone already eating and grab a plate putting Herman's eggs and bacon on it

Being late to breakfast means your stuck between chief and severide who are both in a bad mood so the best is to just stay quiet

These two were slowly lightening up so having a small conversation with severide was actually capable so we talk about doing some extra diving exercises with squad some time next week

"I'll help with clean up" you say making every nod, it was Capp and Tony on clean up so thank god you were there, those two can't do anything without creating an even bigger mess which is why it took us twice the time

" you guys are hopeless" you say taking a water bottle from the fridge " anyways got an job for us tomorrow" Capp smiles " nope I want me wedding to actually go as planned" you smile walking out as they both put sad faces on but you couldn't care less

As you get to the lockers squad gets a call to a car crash, you run out and get in the back right next to Capp

" small crash two cars, Capp tony with Cruz. Halstead with me. Get them out and over to the paramedics then we're on clean up" severide says when tony pulls out everyone giving him an ok

You guys pull up and severide runs over to a small car that was very damaged with you coming after him, " what we got" you ask " elder man, women and baby in the back" he says making you nod " I'll take baby, seems crushed in there" you say going to the back and he nods checking the other two

The baby looks fine but was very young, maybe two or three weeks. But the most worrying thing was the babies neck was at an unnatural angle because of its car seat and the man's seat in-front which means we gotta get him out first

" severide, we gotta get him out to get the baby. Give me a hand" you say and he runs over " woman's fine, just knocked out from the crash" he says trying to pry the door open which ye do " get me a neck brace" he says holding the man's neck in place making you run over to the paramedics and grab two neck braces and tell them to come over for the people

" hold his head" you say as you get the brace on him and you guys get him out to the paramedics, it was weird that all three were knocked out but you just assumed that it was just the hard hit

The baby was much easier to get to now after moving the chair up, " hey paramedic's" you yell as you get the car seat out not wanting to move the baby and severide got the women out who had woken up and we now know the babies hers

After everyone's gone with the paramedics we get to getting the cars off the street which didn't take long so we could get back to the fire house pretty quickly

" hey great call guys, good work" severide says after we get back " thanks Lieutenant" you say before walking in " hey chief, Engine and truck out on call" you ask and he nods " yeah left about 20 minutes ago, house fire" he says making you nod and walking in to the kitchen

They were gone for another half an hour before everyone starts to crowd in, " I wish you luck" I hear Stella laugh as they come through the door and Blake walks right past you not even looking your way, " excuse you Blake Gallo not even a hello" you say and he slowly turns around with a big ass black eye

Your eyes immediately go wide "what that hell happened" you go over placing you hand on his cheek lightly trying to see how bad it was " house fire went up stairs and they had like a huge book shelve and let's just say that kinda fell, my leg's kinda bruised up to" he says making you nod " oh my god" you say passing back " the wedding, you are not looking like this" you say covering your mouth " it'll be fine" he smiles " it's not even that bad, it'll go down" he says hugging you " no we'll cover it up, I should have consoler or foundation in you shade" you smile and his eyes go wide

" I am not wearing make up" he says but you smile " oh but you are" you say kissing his cheek and walking out to go to the squad table

After maybe an hour there on your own you get scared as someone comes up behind you " hello" he yells and you turn around to see Casey " oh my god thank god your here" you smile hugging him " about time, I thought you weren't coming at all" you say pulling away
" I couldn't miss this, where's the groom" he smiles " inside, I'll come with you in case you get lost" you laugh

" hey look who I found" you walk in to the kitchen and everyone gathers around with hugs
" oh what the hell happened to you" Casey laughs as soon as he sees gallo, at this point it looks like he got kicked in the face by a horse "oh but it's no big deal, you barely notice it right" gallo smiles putting his hand around your shoulder and Casey laughs " I see, looks great tho really tough" he nods smiling before he turns to everyone else

" put a smile on you face, you love me really"Blake kisses your head but you keep your angry face " fine you can cover it up" he says making you nod " good" you smile hugging in to his side

The rest of shit was basically just everyone in the kitchen with Casey, truck got another call but it was only a quick one so by the time they got back it was end of shift, which means tomorrows the wedding
