You wake up early the next morning and go to the bathroom then get in the shower then run downstairs after and make yourself coffee then go upstairs again and get ready for the gym

You get down start and make yourself a small salad with a smoothie then get out to your car and drive to the gym
You get there and spend maybe an hour and a after before leaving again and going back to your house and getting dressed for shift
You clean your stitches on your leg before going out the door for shift
You get there and get out to see everyone in a circle around a girl with blake hair " hey guys " you say confused and they all turn around " Oh Ava this is Gabby Dawson, she was a paramedic and firefighter here" Cheif says and you smile at her walking up moving your bag to your shoulder " Ava Halstead " you smile and shake her hand " like..." she says then you stop her " yes Jay and Wills sister " you smile and she nods " talking about Halstead " Boden says and hands you a bonk jacket, you look at it confused " turn it around " He says and you nod and turn it to see it has Halstead on the back instead of just Ava, you smile at it
" thanks chief " you smile than leave it near squad and go to the lockers
" so what's she do " gabby asks after you leave " she's on squad " casay says " and an ex marine " cruz then says and she nods " Well I have to get going" she smiles Then walks out
You finish up in the locker room and walk out to the kitchen and make a coffee then sit on the couch next to mouch
Then you go out to the squad table but you Don't sit when you see some writing on the Ambo and you go to see it
You see it's a name Leslie Shay, you smile at it then see severide and Casey " hey guys, who's this " you smile then they come over " Leslie Shay, she was one of the first paramedics to be on 61" severide smiles looking at her name " she was important to this fire house, one of the people who made it what it is today " He then says and Casey nods " got to admit I like the name " you smile then walk to the squad table and sit down next to Capp and tony
Truck 81, squad 3 Elevator accident
You get up quickly and run out to squad and put on your new jacket and jump in
" so where we going " You ask Tony as he starts driving " some hotel, I never heard of it " He says and you nod then sit back on your chair
You get there and all run in quickly with all the gear you guys will need then you see someone who looked scared
" hey, what happened " Casey walks up to him " I don't know it just stopped and there's kids in there" He says " ok we'll get him out " Casey smiles Then we all run up the stairs to the floor it stopped on
Severide starts messing with the key hole then it opens a bit " you need to send someone in there, the kids might be panicking" casay says to Kelly and he turns to you " You go in " He asks and you nod taking your jacket off and sitting on the floor before sliding in but when you fall the Elevator falls down maybe 3 floor
You shake as it falls but fine again when it stops " hey you ok " You go to the maybe 3 year old girl and she nods scared then you look up to a maybe 17 year old boy " you good" You smile and him " yeah I'm fine " He says and you nod then turn to the door " ok... we need to get out of here " You say looking around the door to see if you can get it opened
But you can't then you hear a crack and kinda panic But then you can see Casey and the rest, you left the girl up and she runs to the paramedics then Casey and severide help the boy and stell helps you up " You ok " she smiles at you and you nod " yeah " You smile then you walk out to squad and you guys leave soon after
You guys gey to the house and you walk straight to the kitchen and go on your phone
" so ava what was the hardest thing about the military " Mouch asks turning around from the couch then everyone looks at you and you look up from your phone " probably losing friends or people you've known for years " you say " do you have any pictures " Ritter asks and you then everyone comes to the table " ok I'll just get the book from my locker " you say getting up
You walk back and sit with everyone who was looking at the book and start flipping through pages
