Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
As you walk in to 51 the next day You see Stella looking happier then usual " you look happy " you smile at her " yeah, oh you weren't at Molly last night " she says realising and you nod " I passed my lutenents test " she says and you stop " Oh my god, that's great" You say and hug her as she laughs
You pull away " when I was waiting for my results, I think I threw up 4 times " you smile then realis what you said then she stops and turns to you
" your a lutenent " she asks and you slightly nod " I'm not a lutenent, well I could if I wanted to" you say " god I never knew that" she says and you nod " I actually don't think I told anyone about it " you say and she smiles " well I am honoured to be the first one" she says and you smile
She stops you before you leave " actually I was going to ask you, would you maybe want to come to one of the girls on fire meetings or training" she says and turns to you " only if you want to, I just think it would be good for them to hear about you " she says with a small smile " I would love too " You say " great " she says " I'll speak to Kylie about it " she says and you nod before she walks away
Later that day as Mouch was having a reward ceremony so you guys wear your full dress uniform and Stella comes in with her white hat as you put on yours because technically your a lutenent even if your not working as one
" you ready " she says and you nod as the two of you walk out together and sit by the front then it starts
" I have to say I'm a little confused about the hat " Casey, severide, Herrmann and Mouch come over as you were talking to gallo " yeah same" gallo says and you take it off
" I toke the test a few years ago and past and apparently even if you were never actually working as a lutenent you still get to wear it " You say and they nod then you guys get a call
Ambo 61, engine 51, truck 81, squad 3 Structure fire
You sigh before running up to squad and gallo behind you going to truck
You get in and you guys drive away
You guys get there and see it's a cafe fire and a man comes says someone could be in there
A few people went in but you didn't because they didn't want to many people going in
You wait there in till everyone comes out but Stella and Severide
" squad go get your lutenent at the back window " cheif says and you all run to the window to see it has barriers
Cruz starts breaking them but the next thing you know they're walking " hey cruz they're good " You say trying to stop him " that's good " He says hitting it again harder and it falls almost hitting him
You back away then walk to squad and engine start the water
By the time you guys get back it was end of shift and you go home then get ready for molly's
