Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
You guys were in for the morning announcement as chief walks in
" good morning, so I've just got word that we'll be hosting the Halloween open house next shift and Brett has decided to organise it so ima leave you guys to it and please help out" he says before exiting the room
Brett starts but you make a run for it wanting nothing to do with it and not long after you guys get a call
Both truck and squad pulls up and you guys stay outside waiting to hear what was going on because it looked like you guys weren't needed
It was only a mother and daughter fight so it was mostly Stella and severide dealing with it
You guys leave soon after not really doing anything
" hey Ava made you some food, come on in" gallo says coming out to the squad table and you go in side seeing eggs on a plate which you immediately go to " thanks babe" you smile and he nods placing a small kiss on your head before Ritter runs in
" gallo Hermann is looking for you and looks mad" he says and gallo immediately panics as he walks in
" gallo I heard rumours" he says and gallo nods " what rumours" he asks " that you did bartending, I could really use your help down at Mollys tomorrow night" he asks and gallo looks relieved " I don't know Hermann"he says thinking about it " please" Hermann practically begs " alright fine" gallos says and Hermann smiles " thank you, your the best and my niece will be happy with the help" Hermann says and you face immediately drops realising why they were so scared, Hermann's niece, gallo's ex
As Hermann leaves you turn your chair to him " well I know what I'll be doing tomorrow night" you say talking a bite from the eggs as he slightly freaks out then he gets a call
" bye love you" he says kissing you before running out " be careful" you yell but he was already out the door
" great" you mumble spinning around again finishing your eggs before cleaning up a bit
You end up falling asleep on the beds and spending a few hours asleep before waking up to see gallo snuggled up next to you with barely enough room to move making you move to the side as he moves a bit before falling back asleep
You look around and see almost everyone else asleep but you get up going in the kitchen making yourself a coffee before drinking it on the couch but you end up falling asleep again
You get shaken awake the next morning be gallo " hey good morning it's end of shift" he says making you nod and slightly get up but you slightly stumble felling dizzy
" hey you ok" gallo says making sure you don't fall " yeah sorry, a bit dizzy" you say and he nods " wanna sit down again" he says but you shake your head " no it's fine probably just the coffee I drank last night" you smile kissing him before the both of you walk out saying a few goodbyes
The rest of the day was spent at home wedding planning in till gallos shift at Mollys was starting
" ima start getting ready but surly I can trust you for an hour in till I get there" you smile and he nods nervously " ok good bye"you say before running upstairs to get changed

It was maybe and hour later so you decide to leave
You walk in to Mollys confident to see that there is absolutely no one there like the place was empty and you get greeted by Hermann's niece
" hi welcome to Mollys" she says and you slightly smile at her " very quiet" you say and she nods " could I just get a lemonade" you ask and she nods
She gives it to you and asks for the money but she didn't know that firefighter get a small discount " what about the cfd discount" you ask and she looks confused " how do I know you're a firefighter" she asks scrunching nose and you shake your head" I don't you could look at my scars or ask my Fiancé" you smile " who's your fiancé" she asks as gallo walks out from the back " Ava" he say's come over giving you a kiss before whispering " thank god" he says making sure only you hear
She ends up giving you all your drinks on a discount and you and gallo spend the whole night together in till finally his long shift ends and you both had actual shifts in the morning so go home soon and you guys go to sleep
The next morning was boring but you guys get a call later in the afternoon to a church fire
" Cruz, Halstead you in with me" severide says making you nod and fallow behind him
You guys get in and are looking for the owner
The fire was bad, it had destroyed basically everything but you guys still hadn't found the Owner which worried you
As you guys got to the last room you find him and hear Chiefs demand to leave which you guys do after a bit of hassle
You guys get back and it was almost dark so you, gallo and Ritter decide to carve pumpkins. You making a cat, gallo trying to make something scary and Ritter god only knows what he was making
After that you guys help out with the haunted house Brett had organised before heading home
" oh gallo by the way we're going to a costume party tonight, it's on the other side of town so it's just gonna be a few drinks and the costumes Contest where the winners get free dirks all night and a 200 dollar check" you smile looking up to see his reaction " fine" he says making your smile " perfect, I got us costumes upstairs" you say running up with him being you
You make him wear a minions costume and yes of course you guys won
