Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
You walk in to shift happy and make your self your daily smoothie and drink it out at the squad table
Then you remember Brett is gone to see Casey as you see violet alone then you guys get a call and you see her with they're paramedic chief then you all leave
You guys get there and see a young boy who was hanging out of a window to the house with the fire
Cruz runs over quickly and calls for a ladder and truck starts bringing it over but the boy loses grip and starts falling down but Cruz catches him him before he falls and he starts speaking Spanish and you we're going to reply but Cruz does before saying that there are two more boys up there
Nobody knows but you learned Spanish a few years back and you fluent in it now
You go up with truck to find the other boy and you guys end up finding them in a closet but one of them was scared to go with gallo so you go down to talk to him
"Estás bien, te tenemos a ti y a tus amigos, pero tenemos que salir de aquí, ¿vale? Vamos, puedes ir con él. Te sacará bien, sal con tus amigos" you say ( you're ok, we got you and your friends but we have to get out of here ok, you go out with him, he'll bring you out. Out to your friends) the boy nods before going with gallo and he looks at you shocked
When the boy is with the paramedics you go over to him
"Oye, amigo, estos chicos te van a revisar y luego te van a llevar a un hospital, ¿vale?, para que los médicos te revisen." You say with a smile and he nods ( hey bud, theses guys are going to check you out then bring you to a hospital where the doctors will look at you)
You then go over and Cruz hands you a water bottle which you drink
You guys go back in after to see where to fire started and just for a look around but you go to gallo " hey you ok, you know about the kids" you smile and he nods " yeah all good" he says and you nod
Truck leaves and you guys go to the hospital because severide wanted Cruz to try to talk to the boy but you stay in squad outside
You guys leave after and go back to the fire house
As you where walking in you accidentally bump in to the new candidate mason
" oh sorry" you say and he looks at you confused " Ava Halstead im on squad" you say and he nods " mason" he says putting out his Hand for you to shake which you do " nice to meet you mason, and welcome to 51" you smile before walking away in to the kitchen
You sit on the couch then gallo and Ritter sits next to you " so when we're you going to tell us you know Spanish" Ritter says " I don't know didn't think it was a big deal" you say then Capp and Tony call you out
You had know that javi the boy from earlier had gone from the hospital but you walk out to see him on severides chair " we can't find Cruz" Tony says and you nod before going over to him
"Hola, Javi, soy Ava, Joe saldrá pronto, así que ¿qué tal si lo esperamos dentro, donde hace calor?" You say and he nods "Sí, vale" he says before following you ( hey javi I'm Ava, joe will be out soon so how about we wait for him inside where it's warm) ( yeah ok)
You go inside with him and see Cruz walking down the hall and when he says him he get him and brings him to the kitchen
Then You go out to the squad table on your phone
At the end of shift you were one of the last ones to leave but as you were walking out you see Stella and severides ofi friend who you still didn't know the name off hidden behind one of the cars
" do I want to ask" you say confused as they slightly laugh " we pranked mason" Stella says and he nod before walking to your car
Gallo comes to your house after and have dinner together then you go upstairs to get ready to go to Mollys
You call gallo up when you where trying to pick an outfit
" look" you say because you're jeans were officially to small " wow" he says coming over

You both laugh " so do you have anything that fits" he asks and you nod "not for long though" you say before he leaves letting you get ready
You spent your time with everyone at Mollys and have a good time as usual then go home and in to bed
As you were walking in to shift you guys get a call then leave
You guys get there to see a one vehicle accident and you and squad get the two people in the front out while truck works on the girl in the back
You guys get the driver out quickly and leave him on a chair and start on the passenger then violet checks him and it turns out he didn't make it and the driver just Disappears and no one knows why
The cops come and take a statement off Stella and severide before leaving then you guys clean up and leave soon after
You walk in up the kitchen and make yourself a smoothie and you drink it watching to with mouch
Not long after you guys get a house fire call and leave right away
Squad gets there first to see a bad fire mostly on the 2 floor
The neighbours tell you guys that there is 3 people living there
Squad goes up to the second floor and truck goes on the first
You guys look everywhere and find two women then severide turns to you
" she said her husband was in the bathroom, we're going out with these guys you get him" he says and you nod before turning back to see them leaving then start going to the bathroom
You Break Through the door and see the man quickly but as you walk in he gets up and pushes you hard and runs out the door probably running out
But he pushes you so hard they you fall on the side of the bathtub and hit you head but you hit the side of bathtub the hardest right on your stomach as you land and immediately get this pain as you fall to the ground grabbing your stomach
