Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
" Severide, chief wants you in his office " Ritter says then kelly nods and walks to his office " what's up, chief " He says walking in the Boden asks him to close the door " ok, how would you feel with a 5th person on squad " He asks " I wouldn't mind but I thought we were fine with 4 people " Kelly asks kinda shocked " Oh no you guys are fine but I think this will be a good thing " He smiles " ok than yeah it's fine " Kelly says sitting down on the couch " good, I invited her here " Boden say as he sings something then kelly just laughs and walks out thinking of the conversation

Ava has been out of the military for maybe 3 weeks and the cheif at 51 called her and said he has a place on squad, she was going to take it but he wanted to meet her so she got ready then drove in her jeep

She gets outside the fire house and grabs her phone before walking up and in the door to see 3 people sat at a table " You know where I can find chief Boden " You ask as they look up " yeah I can bring you " the shorter bold one asks you, you nod then he walks you in the doors and back a hall way to see a small office " thanks " you smile at him before he walks away and you walk in
" Ava Halstead " He says as you walk in and he gets up and shakes your hand, " that's me " You smile then he sits back down " so I have a open spot on squad " He says and you smile " yeah I heard something like that " You smile then sit down " so would you be willing to take it and I just have to asks to you have brothers that I may know " you smile as he says it " yes I would love to take it and yes you may know my brother" You smile " Jay and will" You ask and he looks shocked and you laugh " Jay's twin " He say " I never know thay had a sister " He says still shocked " a lot of people don't and let's say I do start here I don't want anyone finding out" you sigh " not even my lieutenant " You say and he nods " if you don't mind me asking, why" He asks " I haven't really talked to them since I became a Marine " You sigh again " they didn't want me to get hurt and I haven't really told them about me being back for good " You smile softly and he nods " you back for good " He asks " Yeah, I want to be closer to them " you smile " ok, well. I think you'll be perfect" He gets up and so do you " well come to fire house 51" He smiles and shakes his hand
" You want to meet everyone " you nod " Connie can you get Severide and Casey " He asks the girl outside his office then she comes back with two people a older then you but not to much then they walk in " lieutenants this is Ava...." He pauses " just Ava " You smile then he nods " Ava this is matt Casey the truck lieutenant and kelly severide squads lieutenant " You smile at both of them " severide this is you're new member of squad " you smile then put your hand out for him to shake and he does looking confused " this is who I was talking about " Boden says and he nod the the three of you walk out of his office and in to the bonk room where to three of you talk while Boden gets everyone else in to the meeting room
" so Ava " Casey asks and you nod " long a firefighter " You smile " long story short, I was a firefighter a few years ago but I kinda got bored and wanted to do more so I went to be a Marine and I loved every bit of it but It got to hard being away so I decided I would go back to the CFD" You smile at both of them " so what if you just get bored again will you go back to the Mairens " your lieutenant asks and you can tell he wasn't loving the idea of you being here " no, I'm here now and plan to stay here long term " You smile at them " Oh and thank you for your service " Casey smiles back at you then they both leave to go to the meeting room " see you there " Casey says before leaving after severide
Then Boden comes to get you and then he says to stay here in till he signs to come in
" so there's going to be a few changes especially in squad" He says then you walk in " this is Ava, new member in squad " you can see they're confused " last name " an older looking man asks and you smile at him then Boden looks at you " just Ava " You smile at everyone then Boden introduces you to everyone then two people maybe a year or two young come up " Ritter " He Says then smiles at you " ava, Nice to meet you " You say before he walks of off " gallo....... He says nervously then shakes his head " sorry, Blake gallo canadate " He says then you laugh " ava" you smile at him then turn to the chief because he was the last one " You can start next shift " He says then you nod
" so severide how you feeling about a girl on squad " capp asked as kelly sat on his chair " I don't know, like obviously she not going to be as strong as us but she's smaller so she'll be able to go in smaller places " He says " Yeah, I think she'll be good and she did 3 years in the military " cruz said siting back in his chair then you come out and walk over to them
