CHAPTER 24

Hindi na ito sumagot pa samantalang ay hinawakan nito ang kamay niya at bigla na lamang siyang hinila. Nagulat silang pareho ni Tita Sofie dahil sa ginawa nito.

“Hihiramin ko muna, Mom.” At tuluyan na siya nitong nilayo doon.

Dinala siya ni Ghon sa garden ng boutique ni Tita Sofie. May mini garden  sa kaliwang bahagi nito, may iilang upuan at lamesa na maaaring pahingahan. Wala namang katao-tao doon kaya malaya silang mag-usap without interrupted by someone.

The air was thick with the scent of blooming flowers and fresh earth. The trickling sound of a nearby water fountain added to the garden's calm ambiance.

“What now?" Hinila niya ang kamay mula dito, kunot ang noong tiningnan ito.

“We will talk.” Haera wants to rolled her eyes because of what he said. She wants to answer him sarcastically. Kaya nga sila naroon dahil gusto nitong mag-usap sila.

Sumimangot si Haera. Dahil hindi naman niya gawaing sumagot ng pabalang sa ibang tao ay iniba na lamang niya ang dapat na sabihin. “We're talking now, Ghon. It is important? You see I'm going to fit out my wedding dress.”
