It's short, but its something. I'll do my best to keep them coming but i have a bit of writers block. But i wanted to clear something up. When i had stated that Carson was a Vampire Slayer i didnt mean the type that kills vampires. I often wondered how vampires would protect them selves from creatures who would attack in the day time. So Vampires created a breed called Slayers and the Nomad is part slayer (day walking vampire) and human.

Chapter 5: Surprise, Surprise!

Pov: Carson.

We had arrived early that morning in Killarney. It was the same as it was before I left. I couldn't help but smile, I felt like I was home. I took a deep breath. I loved the smell of this country air. Killarney was a beautiful place, part of the country side of Ireland. It was filled with so many cheerful people and small shops and bars. It was the sort of place where everyone knew one another. The cab finally pulled up to the address I gave. It was my house, a beautiful brick cottage with a small porch with white trim, three chimney's and barn red shutters. I nudged Tyler and Riley who had fallen asleep. Tyler instantly perked up seeing it was my parent's house. His parents owned the farm next to ours. Of course it was a few miles down the road. I looked over at Riley she was smiling widely. I loved how her eyes would twinkle when she smiled. She glanced at me out of the corner of her eye, and quickly covered her smile up. I frowned. I guess I didn't realize how much damage I had caused. She hasn't spoken to me since, and I guess I don't really blame her. I was also thankful to the silence. It made it easier keeping her at a comfortable distance. She was good at getting me to say too much. I hated that.

I paid the cab driver and unloaded our bags out of the trunk. I took a deep breath as I knocked on the door. I felt the wind get knocked out of me when I seen Ben standing in the door way. His jaw drops to the floor and rushes out the door and wraps me in a hug.

"MOM!" He screams!

My mom comes running in the room, to see what was wrong. She always was a worrier. She hadn't changed a bit she still had her long sandy hair and aqua blue eyes. I stood there speechless as my brothers arms wrapped around me. I felt like I was seeing a ghost. I couldn't believe he was alive! I thought he was goner, then it hit me. I had been working for Tony all for nothing. He has somehow tricked me.

"Oh my god! Carson!" I heard my mother cry out her thick Irish accent like music to my ears.

She ran over to me and wrapped me in a hug.

"We thought you were dead!" My mother said tearing up.

I smiled and inhaled the scent of her hair. I missed her so much.

Tyler cleared his throat.

"So when do I get a hug!" he said pouting.

We all started laughing and crying at the same time as we invited Tyler to join us.

I looked over and saw Riley standing in the door way, looking away. She was respecting our moment. I broke away from the hug and took Riley's hand.

"Mom, this is Riley." I said.

My mom looked in-between the two of us.

"And who might this beauty be?" she asked brushing her hand across her cheek and giving me a knowing look.

"Oh no, mom, we are just friends. Well not even friends more like co- workers." I said in haste. I instantly regretted it by the look in Ben's eyes. I

Ben's eyes tracing up her body and to her face, his blue eyes melting into a lustful icy silver. I growled in the back of my throat. I didn't want anyone looking at her like that especially him. I looked at Ben and he just smiled mischievously. I knew that look it was going to be another one of our rivals. My mom raised her eye brow.
