Mina's POV

Mina sat on her bed, staring out the window as the rain poured down outside.  Mina couldn't deny the pull she felt toward Tzuyu. Despite her best efforts to keep her feelings at bay, she found herself thinking about her often and wanting to spend more time with her. There was just something about Tzuyu that drew her in, something that she couldn't quite put her finger on. But Mina knew that she needed to be careful, as she didn't want to ruin their friendship or make things awkward between them. So for now, she would just have to keep her feelings to herself and try to take things slow.

"What if Tzuyu doesn't feel the same way? I can't help but think about her all the time. Argh! Why this is so complicated?" Mina whispered to herself and let out a frustrated sigh and leaned back on her bed.

Mina's heart skipped a beat as her phone rang. It was Tzuyu, and she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as she answered the call.

"Hey, Tzu," Mina asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Hi, Mina. I just wanted to let you know that I made it home safely," Tzuyu replied, her voice warm and friendly.

Mina felt a rush of happiness at Tzuyu's words. "I'm glad to hear that," Mina said, smiling to herself.

There was a brief pause on the other end of the line, and Mina could feel her heart beating faster with anticipation.

"Ahm, Mina, I was just thinking about some stuff," Tzuyu said softly.

Mina's heart raced as she listened to Tzuyu's voice on the other end of the line. "What were you thinking about?" Mina asked, trying to sound casual despite the nervousness in her voice.

Tzuyu hesitated for a moment before answering. "I was just thinking about us," she said finally. "You know, about how close we've become over the past few weeks."

Mina's heart swelled with happiness at Tzuyu's words. "Yeah, we have become pretty close, haven't we?" she replied, her voice soft and gentle.

Tzuyu chuckled softly. "Yeah, I guess we have," she said. "And I just wanted to say that I'm really grateful to have you in my life, Mina. You mean a lot to me."

Mina felt her cheeks grow warm at Tzuyu's words. "You mean a lot to me too, Tzuyu," she replied. "I feel really lucky to have you..... as my friend."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, and Mina could feel the tension building in the air.

"Me too, Mina," Tzuyu said.

Mina took a deep breath and decided to change the topic. "So, can you tell me about that soulmate thingy? You said to the girls that we're like soulmates?" Mina asked laughing, hoping to steer the conversation away from the uncomfortable silence.

Tzuyu chuckled softly. "Oh, that? I was just being silly. You know how I am," she replied, her voice lightening up. "But in all seriousness, I do feel a special connection with you, Mina. We just seem to click, you know?"

Mina felt her heart skip a beat at Tzuyu's words. Was she just imagining things, or was Tzuyu actually hinting at something more? She decided to tread carefully, not wanting to misinterpret anything. "Yeah, I know what you mean. It's like we can read each other's thoughts sometimes," she said, smiling softly.

Tzuyu chuckled on the other end of the line. "Exactly, it's like we're connected in some way. Maybe we were soulmates in a past life," she joked, but Mina couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest at the thought.

"Maybe," Mina said, her voice soft. "It's funny though, I always feel like I can be myself around you, you know? Like, I don't have to pretend to be someone else or put up any walls."

Tzuyu was quiet for a moment before responding. "I feel the same way, Mina. You're one of the few people I can truly be myself around."

There was a moment of silence again, and Mina couldn't help but feel nervous. She didn't know what Tzuyu was thinking, but she hoped she wasn't making things awkward between them. Mina got up from her bed and walked over to the window to look outside. The rain had stopped, and the sky was starting to clear up.

"Ohh it stops raining, Tzu" Mina said, trying to break the awkward silence.

"Yeah, I can now see the moon, what a beautiful sight," Tzuyu replied.

Mina smiled, feeling relieved that the conversation had taken a more lighthearted turn. "Yeah, it's always so peaceful to look at the moon. It makes me feel calm," she said.

"You're such a softie, Mina. But I agree, there's something about the moon that just makes everything feel better," Tzuyu said.

Mina laughed, feeling more at ease now. "You know what I always think if they have their own version of us staring up at the stars. I wonder if they find Earth pretty too."

Tzuyu chuckled. "That's so cute, Mina. Maybe there are beings on other planets wondering the same thing about us. Who knows, maybe one day we'll find out."

Mina smiled. "Yeah, maybe one day we'll meet aliens and ask them if they find Earth beautiful."

Tzuyu laughed. "And maybe they'll ask us the same thing about their planet. It's always interesting to think about the possibilities out there. It's humbling to realize how small we really are in the grand scheme of things."

Mina looked out the window again, admiring the moon. "But at the same time, it's comforting to know that we're all connected in some way, even if we're just specks in the universe."

"You have a beautiful perspective on life, Mina. I'm so glad we can have this random conversation," Tzuyu said.

"Me too, I really enjoy talking to you. It's not so often to have someone to share my thoughts with," Mina replied.

"I'm happy to be that someone for you," Tzuyu said.

Mina covers the mic of her phone and takes a deep breath to compose herself. Tzuyu is too sweet for her liking. Tzuyu noticed the awkward silence and asked, "Is everything okay, Mina?"

"Sorry about that, Tzu. You just caught me off guard with your kind words." Mina chuckled nervously.

Tzuyu chuckles. "I don't know why sometimes it's hard to know how to react when someone says something nice about us."

"I know, right? It's definitely something we need to work on." Mina agreed. Then she heard Tzuyu yawn on the other line. Mina smiled, "Looks like I'm keeping you up, Tzu. Do you want to call it a night?"

Tzuyu quickly apologized for yawning and said, "Sorry, Mina. I'm just a little tired. But I can still chat for a bit longer if you want."

Mina chuckled and shook her head, even though Tzuyu couldn't see her. "No, no. You should get some rest. We can always talk more later."

"Okay, Mina," Tzuyu said with a grateful tone. "Let's talk again soon, okay?"

"Definitely," Mina replied, feeling content and happy about their conversation. "Good night, Tzu. Sleep well."

"Good night, Mina. Sweet dreams," Tzuyu said before ending the call.

She put her phone down and leaned back on her bed, her mind still filled with thoughts of Tzuyu. She couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to talk to her more, to get to know her better. Mina sighed, knowing that it was probably just a crush and that she should focus on other things in her life. But for now, she allowed herself to enjoy the warm feeling in her chest and drifted off to sleep with thoughts of Tzuyu in her head.
