Subject: Jeon Jaesoo Friday Detention
Dear Mr. Jeon,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing with regards to your son, Jaesoo, who is in my History class. I previously emailed your wife but did not receive a response.
Jaesoo is a very capable student but he often finds himself distracted and unfocused. For the third time this term, he has arrived without his homework. As such he has been issued a detention to be served this Friday after school.
It would be much appreciated if you could remind Jaesoo of the importance of doing his homework on time and encourage him to do so at home. By working together I'm sure we can help Jaesoo reach his full potential.
