The last line that Aanya spoke broke him down and he lost control and charged at her before slapping her.

Aanya held her palm over where Vicky had slapped her. She just looked at him with a serious face and then.. She smiled.

"You are paying for this," she spoke softly and took a step backward.

"You think am all talks? In an hour you'll know," she said walking backwards and then walked off.

..

Varun was consoling Ritika, "Stay calm, everything will be alright. Once Aanya comes, slowly and calmly tell us everything. We will not let any injustice take place."

Ritika hugged Varun, "I feel so sorry for not listening to Aanya. She was right, some changes are permanent."

Aanya had arrived by then, "You did what your heart told you to do and being the generous person you are, you stuck by the person you loved."

"Aanya..," Ritika said and hugged her.

Aanya sat next on the chair next to hers and asked, "When you are ready. Tell us what happened."

Varun noticed that Aanya's one cheek was redish. He sprang up from his seat, "Did he touch you?"

"That's not a concern," Aanya shouted at him, "Sit down!"

"Are you hurt?," Ritika asked, "What did you do?"

"I'm fine guys! I'm not a concern here. And you'll know what I did soon. Now coming back to the point. What happened?," Aanya told them and made Varun sit.

She began, "You know I went to this party with him yesterday right? We went to one of his friend's bungalow. The party was in full flow but Vicky wasn't drinking much. He sat with me on a swing on the porch. He was very sweet and romantic to me. I was surprised. After a while he asked me if I wanted to go somewhere private and I said yes. I've always hated the crowd. He took me to a bedroom upstairs and in no time we started kissing. But he didn't stop there. He wanted more."

Ritika hesitated to talk further. Varun clenched his fists and asked, "Did he force you?"

Ritika nodded and Aanya covered her mouth with her hands.

"Nothing happened though.. I kept denying and when he lost his temper he hit me," she said with a couple of tears pouring out of her eyes, "I could have slept with him, but what you guys said kept coming to my mind. Was I ready to spend my life with him? Was I ready to be with a guy who wasn't the one I felt in love with? I realised that Vicky's life was different now and I couldn't fit in that. I needed time to figure our relationship out and he was rushing me into things I wasn't willing to do."

"You did the right thing. As for Vicky, he is going to regret every bit of it," Aanya spoke, "Come with me."

Aanya told them to follow her and took them to the Principal's office. The secretary knew Aanya and thus Aanya didn't have to wait.

She knocked the door and entered.

"Aanya Ahuwalia.. Long time since you came. What charity are we doing now?," he asked.

"This isn't about charity sir," replied Aanya, "I'm here to report a student."

The Principal's face grew grim. Ritika went forward and revealed her bruises on her hand and face.

"Who did this?," he asked.

"Vicky," Ritika said with a heavy heart.

"The boy has crossed his limits now. I'm tired of giving him chances. Did this happen in our premises?," he asked.
