Andy's POV
Alex was taking a shower now. I couldn't really look at her without feeling the tears building in my eyes.
I couldn't even imagine the pain Maya must have been going through. Just couldn't even imagine what that feels like.
"Hey" I said as she came through the doors already changed into some pijamas I gave her
"Hey honey" I said as she came over sitting next to me as I wrapped an arm round her "do you want to try sleep for a bit?" I asked and she shook her head
"I don't think I can" she said
"What if we just lay down and you don't have to sleep. Maybe just rest?" I suggested and she nodded slowly.
I turned on the TV putting on some random movie having her asleep against my shoulder 10 minutes later.
Maya's POV
Carina and I remained in Gracie's room just holding each others hand as she slept.
"Hey" we heard Arizona at the door, she came in took her vitals and sat down in front of us "so, I didn't want to bring this up until she didn't wake up. But you know we need to inform psych when a case like this is admitted" she said.
We both knew it. She was right, ir was just so hard to see it this "case" was your daughter.
We slowly nodded as Carina cleaned off a tear from her cheek
"They won't be around until we're certain she is completely stable" she said "and they'll just come talk, see how they're gonna help" she said "alright I'll be back shortly to check up on her"
"I can't believe this" said Carina as she buried her face in her hands and I wrapped my arms round her pressing a kiss against her cheek
"She'll be alright Car. She'll be alright" I said. Half wanting to convince myself from it. "We'll be here and she'll be alright" I said
"Where's... where's Alex?" She asked
"Andy took her home from a while" I said "she'll be back shortly"
"She shouldn't have seen this. They shouldn't be going through this" she said
"I know. I know." I said
Gracie's POV
I couldn't stay awake for more than some minutes. I didn't understand what was going on. I could only remember going into the bathroom and picking up the blade. I'm not sure how I ended up in the hospital.
"Bella" I heard mama as I opened my eyes and saw her and moms standing by my bed
"Hey" I managed to say almost running out of breath. "Dizzy" I managed to say
"You lost a lot of blood" said mom "you'll start picking up soon" she said and I nodded
"Alex?" I asked not really remembering seeing her. But I just didn't want her to see me. At least not like this
"she's with Andy" said mama "she'll be back soon"
"No" I said "Alex... no" I managed to say before I fell asleep again.
"Hey" I heard as I was waking up in my bed. My bed at home. What?
"Hey" I said standing up. I wasn't in a gown. I was in my clothes. I looked down at my wrists to see the scars fully healed. I was dreaming
"So why did you do it?" I heard as I saw Alex sitting down on my desk
"Get off my desk" I said
"Answer me" she said "answer me Grace why"
"I don't know Alex" I said "I couldn't take it any longer"
"Take what?" She asked
"Being such a loser. Such a disappointment. I couldn't take it no longer" I said
Alex's POV
"Alex sweetie wake up" I heard as someone shook me and I sat up "it's okay it was just a dream" she said
I nodded as I rubbed my eyes looking at Andy "what time is it?" I asked
"6:20" she said "we can go to the hospital as soon as you feel up to it" she said and I nodded.
I got up to wash my face trying to wash away the dream I had just had. Not a dream. More like a flashback of last night.
We picked up breakfast and made our way to the hospital over to her room to find mom standing outside
"Hey mom" I said as she hugged me
"Hey my love" she said "hey Andy"
"Hey Mai" she said "we brought breakfast over" she said handing her over some coffees
"Thanks" she smiled
I walked into the room to find Gracie asleep and mama sitting down next to her
I walked over placing a kiss on mamas cheek "hey mama" I said
"Hey Bella" she said placing had arms round me pulling me closely
"I brought you coffee" I said
"Thank you" she said "I missed you"
"Yeah me too" I said "uh how's Gracie doing?"
"She's been up. And she has spoken" she said and I nodded
"Uh mama when is she gonna come home?" I asked wanting to know when she'll be able to be back
"Bella come here" she said as she stood up grabbing my hand as we walked out walking over to some chairs "Gracie won't be able to come back home right away. Cause she needs to be assed by the psychiatric department" she said
"What?" I asked not wanting to her being admitted into psych "uh no no"
"Alex Bella listen to me" she said
"No no. Mama no" I said "they they're gonna take her into psych and no" I began thinking how she was gonna be admitted into psych like another crazy patient they have.
"Come here Bella just come here" she said as she pulled me into her arms "she'll be alright. Everyone will be alright"
How could she possibly be alright if she was being admitted into the psych ward.
Gracie's POV
I was working again. I definitely felt less a dizzy and a tiny bit stronger. If that were possible.
"Hey" smiled mom as I opened my eyes "how are you feeling?" She asked
"Uh better" I said "where's mama?" I asked
"She'll be over any second now" she said and I nodded as I laid my head down against the pillow
"Hello Bella" said mama as she opened the door "look who came to see you" she said as I saw Alex coming round
"Hey" she said as she walked in "hey Gracie"
"Alex leave" I said as I saw her. I just couldn't stand her seeing me like this. I didn't want her to see me this way
"Gracie" she said
"Alex just leave!" I yelled and flinched as I moved my hand
"Gracie Gracie calm down" said mom
"It's okay" nodded Alex "I'll leave" she said walking out of the room
"Gracie" said mama
"I don't want her here" I said
