Alex's POV
I had completely forgotten about practice. I had to be at the pitch for the upper team training.
"Deluca-Bishop!" I heard the coach and I jogged over "ready?" She asked and I nodded "we're gonna start at the pitch and follow to the gym" she said
I could feel how my head was about to burst any time soon. Together with my throat which I couldn't even swallow correctly without having tears in my eyes. Damn it'd be a rough afternoon.
Grace's POV
"Damn it Alex pick up" I said as I phoned her only to be directed to voicemail
"Hey" said mom as she walked in through the door "how are you two doing?"
"Uh hey" I said from the living room
"Hey honey. How are you feeling?" She asked
"Way better" I smiled
"That's great. You look better" she said "Alex?"
"Uh. She left" I said and she looked at me confused
"She left?" She asked and I nodded
"I went upstairs to look for some meds and when I came down she was gone" I said "and she's not picking up her phone now"
She looked at her phone and sighed "she's at the pitch. She went to practice"
"Are you gonna go pick her?" I asked and she nodded as she grabbed her keys
Maya's POV
Damn it Alex. Damn it. I parked at the pitch trying to find her somewhere.
Round 10 minutes later I saw her coming out of the gym basically dragging her feet. I got out of the car and met her out.
"Uhm" she said as she saw me
"Come on" I said "get in the car"
I started my way home seeing how she was falling asleep against the window
"Alex" I said as we got home and I shook her "Alex we're home" I said
She nodded as she got out of the car and slowly walked over to the door
"Alex bambina" said Carina as she saw us coming in "go take a shower now"
She nodded as she slowly made her way upstairs
"I'll give you a hand" said Gracie as she walked over helping her up
"She was at the pitch?" Asked Carina and I nodded
"Unbelievable" she said "she went to practice"
"I know. I know" I said "seems like a joke" I sighed "She looks like hell" I said "and she's burning out"
Carina's POV
"She coming down?" I asked as Gracie came downstairs
"She's sleeping" she said "I tried to wake her for dinner but she was not really up for moving"
"Okay let's have dinner" I said as we all sat down
"You feeling good for school tomorrow?" Asked Maya and Gracie nodded
"Yeah can't really do more days at home with no school" she chuckled
"You and your sister are just so different" laughed Maya and I nodded
"You coming back to the hospital after school?" I asked and she nodded excitedly
Maya's POV
We finished fixing everything downstairs and I headed up to check on Alex.
I walked to find her fast asleep on her bed I placed the back of my hand on her forehead to feel her quite warm.
"Damn" I whispered to myself knowing she was running a fever. I walked over to our room to get some meds to find Carina already tucked into bed watching a movie with Gracie
