Party Time

Gracie's POV
It was already Friday night and we were finishing getting ready for the party. Or at least me.

"Alex!" I said "you ready?" I asked

"No!" She yelled from inside her room

"And she's not ready?" Asked Mama as she came over and I shook my head "what's she wearing that's taking so long?"

"Uh I'll go see" I said as I opened her door "yeah mom's not gonna let you leave like that" I said as I saw what she was wearing.

"Why not?" She asked as she turned around

"Cause that skirt barely covers your ass?" I said and she looked at me

"Excuse me?" She asked

"And your top is just a piece of cloth covering your..." I continued

"Uhh stop" she said "I'm gonna be wearing a hoodie"

"No one's gonna believe that" I said "now come on."

Alex's POV
"We're ready!" I said as I skipped down the stairs

"No running through the stairs" said Mama "do I have to say that 100 times a day?" She said

"We're ready!" I said "let's take pictures!"

"Uh no" said Gracie

"Come on Grace!" I said

"No" she said again as she stood at the front door.

"Right. So, we might be old to you" said mom "but we were once young and we know you're not gonna go out with that hoodie"

"Uh" I said "yes I am"

"Hoodie off. Now" she said and I sighted as I took off my shirt.

"Go get changed now" she said

"Mom please" I said

"Alex" she said

"What's going on?" Asked mama as she came over "ah ah. Bambina" she said

"Mama come on" I said

"It's a no" she said pointing up the stairs "go get changed"

"Uh fine" I agreed as I made my way upstairs to change my top for something which would be more "decent" according to them

Gracie's POV
"I told her this would happen" I said

"I'm ready now" she said

"I'm still not happy with that" she said as she looked at her

"But it's better than the other" said Mama "now girls. We are trusting you. We expect you to..."

"Mama. We know" said Alex "we'll stay together and come back together. We'll be sober and be happy" she said and mom playfully hit the back of her head

"Alright alright know it all" said mom "let's go"

We made it to the party and we could listen to the loud music coming out of the house.

I texted Mark telling him we were there as we got off the car
