Maya's POV
"you think they'd be okay on their own?" I asked as Carina finished getting ready her luggage
"it's just for a weekend" said Carina "I'm sure they won't have a problem with it even though I'd like Andy or someone to come around"
"yeah I can ask Andy to keep an I on them." I said
"I mean they would be driving to school in the morning and to their activities in the afternoon" I said thinking about it, and they were 17 they could manage to be on their own for some days, together with our friends coming to check in.
We walked downstairs to find both of them working on something, of course arguing about it
"argh Alex, just let me do that part" said Gracie
"fine fine you do it" she said giving up
"what are you two up to?" asked Carina
"Alex asked if she could be with me on this project, and I said yes. Which was most likely a bad idea" said Gracie
"please, I'm making it fun" said Alex
"no you're just not working" said Gracie and Alex shrugged
"okay we need to speak with you both" I said as we sat down "so about the wedding we have, we have been discussing it" I said
"and we're okay with you staying on your own" said Carina
"wooh" cheered Alex
"with a couple conditions" said Carina as she looked at her
"okay" nodded Gracie
"first of all Andy and Amelia will be coming round" I said "coming in to check in etc. Specially on weekends"
"you're both sleeping here" I continued "no sleep overs at friends house. We want you both sleeping here together."
"and no sleep overs here" said Carina
"what do you..." began Gracie "oh" she said as Carina faced Alex
"oh please" she said "are you really" she chuckled and Carina threw a stern look
"jeez alright" she said "I don't get why this warning is only directed to me"
"cause you're the one with the boyfriend" said Gracie
"alright under this conditions" said Alex "can we?"
"yes" I said "under this conditions yes"
Alex's POV
Hell yes. I knew they would agree, and I also knew Gracie would join to have fun. It was once in a million years we could have the house to our own.
"hey" I said as we saw both of them heading upstairs "what do you say? House party on friday"
"Alex they literally just said" she began
"they won't be here Gracie, when will this ever happen again?" I asked "plus, this way just think about it. We could make Kathy jealous as hell"
"how?" she asked
"House party Gracie" I said "there'll be girls"
"so?" she asked and I sighed
"Grace use your brain" I said
"I don't want to be with another girl" she said
"fine, there'll be boys" I said
"I don't want to be with anyone else" she said
"Gracie, you need to get over her. She doesn't deserve you. At all" I said "you're way too good for her and you know it"
