The Cheshire cat grinned widely at Gabriel, as if the cat knew something she didn't. In fact, the cat was merely floating up above, and half of its body couldn't be seen, veiled by a mist she couldn't see. Something about the Cheshire cat was mystic, though. Its eyes were glowing crescent moon-like green, and if Gabriel wasn't mistaken, its smile was far too stretched like a rubber. At night, the cat would sit on her shoulder and sometimes disappear and reappear after a few hours.

Gabriel knew that this place resembled Alice in Wonderland, and it seemed like the Cheshire thought she was Alice. Time flew fast and slow. Often times, it was nighttime then after a few minutes it would be daylight. She could not understand the pattern the wonderland was giving her. And as she trailed alongside the path, she realized that there were more wondrous things in store.

The green hills hovered up above, each one overlapping another. It made Gabriel wonder if it could fall, because if it could, then those hills could destroy her any time. But so far, it was just hanging. Attached to the hills were strings so thin you wouldn't be able to see it on first sight. Gabriel had to examine it before she could move on further. She had no idea what would happen if she pulled on those strings, and the hills and strings were a strange version of balloons.

She was looking for a key, and the cat said that the key was in the Red Queen's palace, so she hiked up the plateau that the cat said would lead to the place she was looking for. Hours passed and it was a never-ending road going there. Once she met some big twins. They said they would tell her which way to go, but Gabriel just shook her head, not trusting anyone. Still, those two twins insisted she hear them out, so she did. One twin pointed at the east, while the other directed her to the west, and to say she was confused was an understatement. Gabriel had read Alice in Wonderland before. The twins were Tweedledee and Tweedledum and nothing just ever made any sense. She took the road going north and bade the twins' goodbye, finally relieved to be free of them.

Then when she was about to drink something from the lake, a pink flamingo came up to her and said, "You shall not drink something from the lake."

Gabriel took its advice since the lake could make her bigger or smaller. When she got back on her path again, dancing flowers held her off. They were in front of her, dancing to their hearts' delight, even inviting her to join them, so she did. Together, they danced for an hour until the flowers were exhausted.
